Still new to Miro and love so much of the functionality but some things really baffle me. I’m a consultant and am working with a client team on a month-long project (hence monthly passes work best. Monthly passes, to my knowledge, can only be extended to team members, which is fine. However, as a Team member, individuals (non account administrators) can “Invite Members” to join the team - thus extending full licensure to individuals at will (and potentially without our – the consulting firm's – knowledge or approval. When they click the blue button at the Top to “Invite Members,” they can enter an email and extend the invitation, which would result in a charge for the account owner, and also possibly open up participation to a broader set of users then intended. Am I missing something?
Hi - We really like this platform and just started to pilot it. We have the Team License package. We’d like the “Comment Only” users to have more features besides ONLY adding comments. They would like to use the default palette on the left side of screen. While I understand the purpose of Comments, it lacks other features that would help us. Without using another Team Member license, how can I accomplish this? I see there is an External Editors pilot program for Business and above. Can you enable us to this feature for the Team licensed customers? At minimum, can we be part of the pilot program? Thanks much.. Rohita.
I am benchmarking from someone elses board, and the documents they have in there show an option to open source file. Whether I drag and drop, or use the upload option, my files seem to be stored on Miro instead of linked to the source. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi, I was just curious as to what happens to the distributed translation slack workspace. I know it existed before. 🙏🏽
How can I restore my board?
Hello! We have a non-team member with an “issue.” If a Team member updates a linked document, does the non-team member get the updated version when he opens the board. It appears he is unable to refresh the linked doc. Thanks! Monica
I'm just new to Miro. However, I have followed all passes to set the permissions for my team and It seems it's not working since all team members are able to see and edit all boards even without permission to do it. Any clue to fix this?
I am sharing my Miro board through zoom. I need the person on the other end to be able to control the mouse. She is using a surface with a track pad and touch screen.
We are planning a strategy planning session Monday next week for a client with 20 attendees. They will be invited using the day pass. We wanted to send the invitation out with the link and some notes at least 4 days in advance of the session. However, we do not want them to click the link until the meeting day as their 24 hr day pass may expire before the scheduled session. What approach is taken in this situation? We currently have the Miro Consultant plan.
Hello there, So I am a freelancer who really likes Miro, but don’t need to use it as a team, but as an individual working on my own. However, I could really do with being able to export jpgs etc of my boards. There’s no tier that currently allows this, other than I think the consultant tier. Am I right in thinking that if I upgrade to that then I will only pay $12 a month but get everything the team level brings for my individual use without the need for a team? Sorry if that seems a daft question. Just trying to work out the best way to work it. Many thanks, Cavan
I am trying to upload password protected documents (PPT, Word) to a Miro board but get a message saying something went wrong. From trail & error, I think it’s because the docs are locked. Is it not possible to upload password locked documents? Thanks! Monica
