Good afternoon, dear Miro team!Today I tried to log into my Miro account through Google. The process went like I was creating a new account. After logging in, all my boards and all my work disappeared.I didn't receive any email notification. How do I recover my account with my boards?
Hi,I’m on a free Miro account and just looked at my bank statement and Miro has been charging me for every month since February this year.Sorry for posting this here as I couldn’t seem to find a way to for a free member (who is paying) to contact anyone in customer service. Is there a way I can contact customer service to find out what is going on here.Cheers
Hi all, We use Miro at work, the entire company is on it - amazing but it’s getting hard to organize. We have Projects which helps us organize, but ideally would need more detailed Folders or Projects within Projects. Is this something Miro are working towards? We ‘Star’ boards also, but as we work within seasons (fashion) we’re all using about 15-20 Miros at one time. Thanks!Luke
Hey all. There are several projects that are created by our former HR rep but since she left there isn’t anyone that can see the project anymore. Is there a way, within the consultant plan, to see these project or invite people to these projects? I’ve found that it is available for the enterprise plan with Content Admin permissions but maybe there’s something I can do without changing plans? https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012777280#h_620e969a-21ea-47bb-a6d4-16707f655005
I’ve used Chrome, Safari, and the Mac Desktop app, and in each I experience the same text alignment issue: many text blocks are cut off and I’m forced to go in and delete and re-type a letter to reset the alignment. I noticed another topic in the help center was marked as resolved a year ago, but that doesn’t appear to be true…
Hi,For Step 3: Exchange authorization code with access token of the Miro OAuth 2.0 authorization flow, does the https://api.miro.com/v1/oauth/token API endpoint support passing the client_id and client_secret values via Basic Auth? We’re currently passing them through via the request body as x-www-form-urlencoded parameters, but would prefer to update it to use the “Authorization: Basic xyzxyzxyz” header instead! I’ve tried to do so using my Insomnia client to generate a POST request to the https://api.miro.com/v1/oauth/token endpoint with grant_type, code, and redirect_uri passed in the body and client_id and client_secret base64 encoded and passed via the Basic Auth header, but am receiving this 500 error in response: Is this possible? Thanks,Josh
Is there a way that I as an IT Admin, can have a Miro Account on our company account used for Administration, however, since I am not using Miro for other purposes, not have to be charged the monthly license fee?I know other services that allow for an Administrator, but can revoke the actual License.
Hi!I’ve been building a custom Miro app with React, which includes drown-down selections (using <form>, <selection> and <option> tags). When testing this in browser-based Miro (both Chrome and Safari), all is looking right. However, when testing it in the native Miro app (on Mac), suddenly the dropdown menus appear in a completely wrong position, see two screenshots for comparison. What might cause this issue and how to solve?
Hi there,I’ve been having a very weird bug over the last month or so. I use Miro on my iPad and iMac simultaneously and when writing in a specific colour on the iPad the colour will change randomly while writing then sometimes revert back, leaving quite a mess. I’ve attached a photo of my ipad below the imac… iPad shows the correct colour but on the imac you can see the red has changed to blue partway through then changed back at the end. It’s not the biggest issue but it is a bit weird and makes colour-coding or underlining sections in specific colours impossible. I’m using Safari browser on the iMac and it seems to be just a Safari issue… Chrome looks fine, but I do use Safari for everything so would be great to have that working.Anyone else having this issue? Thanks!Duncan
My team is tasked with creating a lot of workflows and documents for different workstreams. I am trying to find a way to work smarter and not harder with this . . . here is my example . . . We created a workflow in Miro, but want to show it in a Powerpoint presentation. I know I could just copy and paste it from the Miro to the correct page in the Powerpoint, but I am pretty sure that this workflow or some items within it will change, or need to be expanded and further detailed out. Is there a way for me to link the workflow in Miro to the Powerpoint document so that when/if the Miro workflow changes it will automatically change/update in the Powerpoint document? Is that even possible?
When syncing multiple artboards the sync does not:Remember the relative position I used in the Sketch file Remember the link to previously sync’d artboards. It brings each artboard in as a new file.My work arounds are:Sync and position manually (very tedious with complex flows) Sync one artboard at a time (even more tedious with complex flows)I just want to his Sync All or Sync Selected once, not 100’s of times per day when I am making updates to my screens. I have been putting up with this behaviour for a very long time. It use to behave itself properly. Does anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it?Can someone please help?Cheers
Hello everyone,i am a student in germany studying business informatics. Beside that i am working in a company in a dev team. For my studies i have to carry out a project and i thought about creating an interface for the company i am working in, that exports the data structure of the classes and imports them into a miro board and creates an UML diagramm. Before I start, I wanted to know if it is at all possible to transfer data (e.g. in JSON or CSV/XML format) via an API to Miro and finally create a UML diagram with it.I have already read a bit of the documentation and found very cool information about creating shapes, notes and so on. But is there also the possibility to create a kind of “UML-Shape”? Or do i have to programm that by myself (like connecting multiple rectangles in a right order).I look forward to your answers 🤗Thanks in advance
I have multi page PDFs that I’d like to use within Miro. Upon importing I see the document for a split second as it should be viewed, before it is truncated and becomes unusable. In my case please imagine a multi page balance sheet with multiple line items spanning the page, and signatures. After importing I get some of the numerical values and the signatures, but the descriptions and notes are gone. I have tried exporting as a PNG as recommended from another post, but this does not give me visibility beyond page one for any document in the miro board. What’s frustrating here is that Miro gives visibility of my document for about two seconds as it should be viewed, before converting to the truncated version of that document. The document is saved in Miro as both the PDF and PNG retain their content when downloaded from Miro. Please allow multi page high detail PDF documents to be able to be imported properly into Miro. Thank you. -Nate I’ve pulled from this from the web and this con
I'm having some problems when using Miro with my students, first of all, I used to be able to create videochats, but now, when they enter my videochats, their board becomes all white and they can't hear me.... I have been using miro for 2 months and this started 3 weeks ago and the temporary solution is for me to enter the sessions that they create, this seems to be fixing it, but it would be great to be able to make videochats again. The second problem is with a specific student: our sessions are always breaking down because her miro shows a sign saying "Our webpage had a problem and it's going to refresh the page" This happens every 5 minutes. Do you have any advice/solution?
