When drawing with a wacom tablet, I get strange ‘horn’ like artifacts.  What could the problem be?

@Didi - Can you provide an example screenshot?

I hope it is clear, I was drawing only spirals, these spikes just keep showing up, doesn’t matter which brush:

I have the same problem. Miro is adding "horns" or "spikes" to my pen strokes; see the attached picture.

Here is some information for diagnostic purposes.

  • I'm using a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet, small size.
  • There are no spikes when I use my tablet in any drawing program or other website (including AWW App). It seems specific to Miro.
  • My colleagues using Miro with other tablets are not experiencing the spikes. It might be a compatibility issue with the Wacom tablet.
  • The problem is MUCH worse when I'm sharing my screen on Zoom, to the point of being unusable.
  • The problem is somewhat worse when someone else is sharing their screen on Zoom, or when several users are writing on the whiteboard simultaneously.
  • I'm using a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop, running Windows 10.
  • I played around with the tablet settings, cleaned the tablet, and replaced the stylus tip, none of which helped.

Any idea how to fix the problem? Suggestions are much appreciated.
