Hi
Any news regarding Miron on Samsung Flip Pro?
Also looking into this, would be interested.
Cheers
Jonas
Hi,
I have a Samsung Flip 3 and did some tests:
I’m using a Macbook Air MacOS Sonoma 14.0
With the latest UDPP driver installer: UPDD_07_01_108.dmg
On the Macbook Air connected to the Samsung with the help of the UDPP drive, the HDMI and USB connection
I can use the pen of the Samsung to navigate the MacOS and open the Application Miro
As you can follow in the screenshot:
- if i select with the pen the “Arrow”-tool then if I touch the screen, it will pan the drawing
- if i select with the pen the “PEN”-tool then if I touch the screen, it will pan the drawing also, instead of drawing as expected
So i’m inconclusive on how to solve this. There are pen-settings to tweek but couldn’t find a working fit…

Are there any updates on this? Looking in to Samsung Flip line of products for Miro too.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your interest in using Miro with the Samsung Flip Pro! I’ve checked in with the team to gather more information regarding compatibility with this device. I’ll update this thread as soon as I receive a response from them.
Stay tuned, and feel free to reach out if you have any further questions in the meantime!
Hi Eca,
We have now 2 Samsung Flip Pro and would love to integrate Miro as a collaborative tool to enhance the group dynamics in our Design Thinking workshops.
I can make time to do tests on them even together with your team over video call.
Thanks
Hi everyone,
I got an update from the team.
While the Samsung Flip Pro is not currently on our recommended interactive displays list, you can open the phone browser (if you already have the device) and visit https://miro.com/displays to enter the interactive displays entry point.
You can also download the Miro app from the Google Play Store and see if it tracks as an interactive
display, and share any feedback from the experience with us here. It should not have an authentication prompt if detected as an interactive display.
We hope this helps!
