[RESOLVED] Timer app persistently flagged as "new"

Ever since reinstalling the Timer app a few months ago, it continues to show as “new”, i.e., the blue dot, every time I open a board – or when I click on the Present action button arrow:

I opened a support ticket and will continue to report back here as I learn more and until the issue is resolved.

 

Response from Miro support as of 12-Sep-2023:

Our team has investigated the UX inconsistency and potentially plans to resolve the issue in a future UX update that is scheduled for the future. An immediate fix will not be provided as the change implemented would have ramifications that could take an extended period of time.

Leaving this post marked as [KNOWN BUG] until the issue is fixed.
