I’m using emojis to tag sticky notes in a massive brainstorm activity.

I’d like to then be able to filter by emoji.
Is it possible? I guess if not, I should be using tags instead but it’s not as fun or easy.

If not possible, is it something that may be possible in future?

Thanks!

@Elite Yeah, I too couldn’t find a way to filer by emojis - I tried a number of queries:

:),, etc.

You could always add this as an Idea in the Wish List category by following the guidelines here: Wish List: Everything You Need to Know.

A few benefits of using the tags as you have mentioned:

  • You could color-code your predefined tags to make them visually more obvious:
  • Tags export to the CSV along with the sticky text:
  • It’s the same number of clicks to select the sticky, then the add tag action, and finally the tag as it is when you do the same steps for emojis.

  • And, obviously, you can filter on tags :)

Thanks Rob, that’s a nice way to get around it! 🙂 ha ha
