I’d like to invite a focus group and have the participants evaluating a number of different ads in Miro by using the “comment” function. In order to avoid the risk of being influenced by other group members: Is there a way to make sure that only the user’s own comments are visible to them? If such a function doesn’t exist, it’s high on my list board!:)

Unfortunately not as Miro is intended as a collaboration (not solo work) tool. If you are doing it in a “live” session, one approach might be to use bulk sticky note entry mode (rather than comments). Have everyone review one ad, enter their comments in one or a few sticky notes in the bulk entry mode, and then when the time is up, they post those notes simultaneously.

Hey @Erlend and @Kiron Bondale! How about Breakout Frames, wouldn't that be a perfect fit for this?

"The toggle Lock participants to linked frame is enabled by default - this prevents participants from navigating to other frames after joining a breakout. If you disable the option, participants will be able to move freely to other frames on the board during the breakout session."

That’s a good alternative too. The only caveat is that this is still a beta feature so who knows what changes the Miro team might make to its functionality over time.
