HI, I am a board owner and running a training session using MIRO.  We have some imbedded PDFs in the board, which in the past people have been able to select and then just choose the arrow to download, however now they cant and they just get a grey arrow?  I have looked at some topics on here and they say to change the permissions to “Anyone with Board Access” but I dont have that option?  Any ideas as this is vital to our sessions!!!!

@Craig Ansell -

This is controlled by both Team content settings and the individual Board content settings. You can control the latter but your Team admin would be able to control the former. If you can locate that individual you could ask them to open up access as per the following article: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018350399-Board-Content-Settings

@Craig Ansell - Here’s what needs to be set - you can forward this post to your Team Admin:

I’m having the same issue. I’m the admin and board owner. I’ve given permission in both the share and settings areas. First the participant got the note that I needed to give access, the second time they are asked to create an account. This has never been an issue before. Hope it’s fixed soon…

@Robert Johnson I’ve set at both the team and board permissions level anyone can edit. This is what they see

@Kristen - How exactly do you have the board’s Share settings configured?

Miro may show banners about “signing up”, but it’s not required.

If you do add a password, some users may think they still need to sign up - they do not. E.g.:
