Customizing content of Jira Cards

We just configure the Jira/Miro card integration. And while it’s working well, I wonder if there is a way to customize the cards. We are managing our iterations in Miro and preferably want to see only the summary and the assignee. That way we could see more cards without scrolling or zooming out.

Thanks for any pointers!

Hey @Mark Striebeck!

Thanks for the great question:wink:

It’s possible to customise Jira cards by setting up custom fields like estimates, tags, sprints, and many others. Yet, it’s not possible to remove default fields, such as AssigneeIssue typePriorityStatus from the picker and from the cards. So these default fields are alwayr reflected.

You can check this handy article for more information: Jira Cards.

You can pitch your idea to display only the summary and the assignee to the Wish List to make it visible for the Miro team and the community. More tips are in this helpful guide.

Hope this comes in handy!

Yeah, it would really be great if you could opt out some of those default fields. For instance, in PI Planning, I’m not going to know Assignee and the status isn’t that helpful. But seeing the story points would be great from an planning perspective
