Can you help me understand something about the Enterprise licensing model, please.

If I have understood correctly, only those who create new boards need the Full license of Miro. So why wouldn’t everyone buy just one Full license and make one person (or create some automated flow) to create all the boards and then just add the Free licensed users as editor right members to the board…?

Kindly,

Sani B.

Hi @Sani B.

Thank you for your question!

It is within the user’s discretion to decide which subscription plan to purchase. Miro doesn’t require users to subscribe to the Enterprise plan. What you're describing is actually feasible—where one person with a Full license creates the boards, and others with free accounts are added as editors. However, each plan comes with different levels of privileges and features, which could impact the workflow.

Here’s a comparison of the plans from https://miro.com/pricing/

If you're on the Enterprise plan, you can manage roles and change some users to Free Restricted Members, which will reduce the number of paid seats.

Hope this helps!
