Why can't we apply the same tag multiple times on a sticky?

I like to use tags to help participants make sense of the many ideas on the board.

In real life, I would give people x number of red sticky dots for "spicy" ideas, x number of green sticky dots for safe ideas etc.

Then this allows us to see what the group feels about the ideas, and makes the "spiciest" or "safest" ideas stand out.

How might I do this on Miro? Since a tag can only be applied "once" (if someone has already deemed an idea 'spicy' I cannot 'add' another tag that says spicy, I can only remove the tag).

Thanks in advance for your help!

@Vincent Virat - While I do not work for Miro and cannot speak as to why they chose to only allow one unique tag per object, I can offer a suggestion of using emojis to gather votes, e.g.:

Other participants can then click/tap on the emoji to increase the count by one each time.

Note: each participant can only increase the count by one -- clicking it a second time will remove their vote.
