I remember when first starting out in UX design, someone had told me that it was just a title and I’d be doing BA (Business Analyst) work. While there are similarities, they are both different roles as the name suggests.

What are some of yours? I’m sure there must be many and some interesting ones to!

Hi @Karen M,

And thanks for sharing your story. I’m a BA (100% time) and I can assure that UX it’s definitely not the same.

And for a good reason, the UX is really a very important deal. And, as a BA, I was bias against the UX team. I had so many misconceptions: “it’s easy; everyone can do it; it’s not required to have proper education; Usability testing is expensive and not worthy; Aesthetics are  not important; UX was about usability...”

Thank God, that the guys from UX educated me :)
