Hi all- I’m facilitating a group building a “people’s history” of a major company.

We’re looking a tool that enables people to add items along a timeline. For sense-making purposes, we’d need people to be able to tag items in a way that enables searching, sorting, etc. I’m not sure if Miro can support that.

Any ideas come to mind? Either Miro templates/features, or other platforms entirely?

It should be possible for folks to annotate items using comments. For example, they could use uploaded images as the items and then add comments to annotate each one. Then, using Miro’s standard filtered search capability, it would be possible to search for comments containing specific text.

@Kiron Bondale have you seen examples of stickies or other elements with specific fill-in-the-blanks? Or something where people can check boxes, and then that enables search? Consider by analogy the way Notion and Airtable allow users to create/ fill in cards with specific data fields.

Unfortunately not, but you can make a “template” sticky note which folks can then duplicate (rather than creating brand new ones) which has the desired fields.
