I’m new to Miro and using the free version. I want to use Miro for retrospectives.  Do I need to create a new board for each retro or can I just use 1 board for all of my project retros? I plan on using one of the templates.

There’s nothing preventing you from using the same board. You can create a frame for each different retro ceremony instance and name the frame with the date of the retro so team members can review the learnings from past retros by using the frame panel.

The beauty of a single board is you can easily export all the learnings in one shot. You can also see if there are any repeat lessons which weren’t learned. Finally, it makes it easy for you to see if you are not having enough variety in your retro recipes.

If you haven’t see his boards yet, Chris Stone has an unbelievably great set of retro templates available here: https://www.thevirtualagilecoach.co.uk/retrospectives
