Miro stuck on loading screen - all authenticated pages

Reading the forums this seems to be a recurring issue with many users. I login and get stuck on the loading screen with the grey morphing miro logo.

My remedies so far:

  • Used inspector to ‘clear site data’ (I have checked include 3rd party cookies)
  • Used refresh button option to clear cache and reload page
  • Cleared my browser cache from the settings
  • Tried incognito mode

Appears to only affect my Google chrome browser on Mac Monterey

  • Does work on Safari
  • Does work on Chrome for Android

Also note

  • I’m on a managed device that has google’s ‘managed by’ feature in Chrome enabled.
  • I am using google as an authentification gateway (sign-in with google) to access miro
  • I can not access any board link (same loading screen appears)

I get the following errors in the console log:

DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for chrome-extension://fgmojdlldojifnjgpnhmfdchbiapfjhb/css/content.css.map: System error: net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND
DevTools failed to load source map: Could not parse content for https://miro.com/app/static/applicationInlineEntry.cea39fcc807cfcf6.js.map: Unexpected end of JSON input

I don’t know of any other ways to reset my browser short of re-installing it. Previously when this bug occured the previous steps to remedy it have been successful.

Thanks folks for any support, tips on how to resolve, or to the miro bug squashing team to help resolve the issue.

Given the amount of troubleshooting you’ve already done, I’d suggest opening a Miro support request. As you have a viable workaround with other browsers, you should be able to continue working while the Miro team looks into it.

You can open a support request here: Submit a request – Miro Support & Help Center
