I’m uploading images to an organisation chart template I created, with the logos for each sector.  However, after I uploaded them, the images move with my cursor but I want it to stay where I put it - help?  I am using the free version

It sounds like the images you’ve added are unexpectedly following your cursor after you place them. Let’s dig into a few possibilities:

  1. Could you check if you’re accidentally in a selection or drag mode? Sometimes, tools like the “Select” or “Hand” tool can cause items to move if they’re unintentionally selected.

  2. Are the images part of a group with other elements? Grouped items will move together, so ungrouping them might help if that’s the case.

  3. Did you use the native Miro template for the org chart, or did you create one from scratch? Sometimes templates have predefined behaviors that may affect elements added to them.

Would you be able to share a quick video showing this behavior? This can help us better understand what’s going on and suggest more specific steps.

I’m sure it’s to do with ‘1’ you mentioned.  So do I have to keep swapping from and to hand mode to keep logos in place?  It seems really difficult to navigate this way.

I created it from a templates, but should I create one from scratch instead so I can use it easier?
