Is it possible to block a screen (Ipad) on a specific area of a board to prevent participants from losing a frame that we use as a game board?

If you are referring to freezing a portion of the screen, unfortunately that is not possible at present. There is a wish list idea submitted already related to this (https://community.miro.com/wish-list-32/freeze-panes-similarly-to-google-sheets-1587), so feel free to upvote it and to add your use case in the comments for that idea.
