After working in MIRO and updating my board, I click on MIRO logo (upper left hand corner) to return to dashboard to logoff of Miro.
The Dashboard never appears; only a spinning MIRO logo appears.  Even after 5 minutes, it is still
a spinnning logo.

In order to log off, I have to open another MIRO session and logoff from that one.
Then the original session pops a message stating "MIRO is being updated, reconnecting.....", then the original session will close out.

This has been going on now for at least 3 weeks.

Thanks

Hi @LWinn! Are you using browser (in that case, which one?) or the desktop app?

If you're using browser, have you tried deleting cookies and cache?

Hi Henrik:

Using Google Chrome on laptop.  Just deleted cookies/cache again, and was able to successfully logoff.

Will monitor it and see how it goes.

Thanks for prompt response!

Hi Henrik:  still having the same issues as originally reported; even after clearing cache & deleting cookies.

Using Microsoft Edge now and experiencing same issues.

@LWinn - I would suggest trying either:

  1. the Miro Desktop app
  2. a completely different device if you have one, e.g., another laptop
  3. connecting from another network, e.g., a mobile hotspot

The behaviour you are describing could be related to a firewall/proxy/VPN, i.e., network, and WebSockets could be being blocked - more on this here: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017572694-Add-Miro-to-allowed-apps#WebSockets_

Here is another article that may give you some ideas as to why this is happening to you: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/5132006655122-Boards-dashboard-won-t-load
