Pins on a geographic map

I’d like to ask the participants to set a pin to their location on a geographic map of germany. As I haven’t found such a function, I uploaded the picture of a map as well as the picture of a pin. Unfortunately there seems to bei no way to place the pin on the map - it alwas jumps to the head of the picture and arranges itself right above on the left side.
Is there any funktion I missed to stop that behaviour or does anybody have a better solution than my work-around?
