The cursor display was originally enabled by default. With the cursor visible, it was easier to say "please look here, where the cursor is," which helped facilitate collaboration.
In recent releases, the cursor display is disabled by default. As a result, we now need to enable it every time to continue collaborating as before.
The reason we need to switch it every time is because the setting is reset whenever we open a board. It would be great if the cursor display setting could be saved for each logged-in user.
Indeed! I work with users who have poor computer proficiency and we often waste several minutes before they manage to activate the setting and view everyone’s cursor. This is vital for me and was switched on by default before. The worst part is that even if they switch it on, it’s likely that next time they’ll have to go through the same steps again because the setting keeps switching to off.
Hello,
+1 on this !
It is really helpfull to have it on by default. It costs some precious seconds on each board, every day, etc.
It is : 1/ annoying, even if you know how to do it quickly ; 2/ time consuming : when you have to explain to someone.
Thanks !
