I currently am making an app that has cards that you can move around inside the board, and just want one SVG image of the card and have text that I can change since the messages can be changed from time to time, and making hundreds of SVG images with different text is not exactly ideal. So I want to be able to create and image object and group it up with text, so I can drag the card around and have both image and text intact.
I want to lock some objects when having a set of objects created since they act as background objects, I know you can do this on board, but can it be done when created via miro.board.widgets.create?
I’m following this tutorial part, I’ve selected react, I made my app and tried both localhost and an external server, but my App isn’t showing up on the left side pannel for apps or the upper right one, I had an old app I made from html and jQuery, which does show up on the upper right, but I just can’t find the new app I made, I’ve looked at other ones that add an event listener to one of the Miro events but it did not help, is there anyway to trouble shoot because I can’t find much to look where its going wrong.
I've looked around the references and know to customize a lot of things like adding logos and such, but still aren’t sure if I can change the height and width or add tags to the cards via web SDK If there is a page somewhere I can look at to figure out the details of the card object creation?
I’m making an app where dropping a card on top of a shape object needs some functions to be called, so I want to catch when cards are moved, I tried using “WIDGETS_TRANSFORMATION_UPDATED” but it doesn’t give coordinates, I’ve tried getting the common ‘dragend’ on document and it did no go well either, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve made a card using the api, and have a card like so, The issue is the bottom part of the text gets cut when zooming out, is there anyway to control what is shown or not when zooming out?
I have a plugin that generates objects to aid in workshops online and providing visual aids to them on Miro, the object creation itself is done by a logged in user, but I want to do some updates to a card object that are done by users who are joining in that are not logged in.I just want to change the color and rotation of a card, is this possible?I’ved added async function checkCardMovments( widget_id ){ await miro.board.widgets.update({ id: widget_id, rotation: 0, style: { backgroundColor: '#FCEEF0'} })} miro.onReady(() => { miro.addListener('WIDGETS_TRANSFORMATION_UPDATED', (e) => { if( (e.data.length == 1) && ( e.data[0].type == 'CARD' ) ){ checkCardMovments(e.data[0].id) } }) } to the miro.onReady of the js file that is initializing the plugin, it works fine if I am a logged in user but the callback doesn’t seem to run at all if its an anon user
I’m making objects and some of them go under some objects that I want to be in the background, is there a way to set the, in CSS terms z-index, putting some objects “backwards?”
I know you can add metadata through the API, but I cannot find documentation on how to add meta data via web plugins, I’d like to add a “session_id” to the group of objects I create via a single button and I need a way to group them up for future use.
