Hey All,We have a miro board that we would like to share with people who are new to MIRO and they will only have access as a ‘free user’. Is there a way for us to share the board with them so that they can duplicate and edit it as necessary? And if possible could we lock the ‘Master’ board for editing? Basically - Can a free user duplicate locked items on a board, which they can then edit themselves?
Below I provided a link so you can see a screencast video I made that demonstrates the trouble I’m having using Miro on my iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. I can open the palette for shapes but not for the pen. Why? Video of my problem.
Miro does not render all draw lines on miro app is I zoom out. Basically I am trying to leave all the draw expressions on the board if I zoom out help.

Hello! Has anyone found a good way to analyse or organise Miro sticky notes so that you can group them by common themes or words? I am running online workshops to gather feedback and input from different groups and it would be amazing to be able to for example, collect all the sticky notes that have the word “microscope” on them. Is there a clever automated way or workaround other than just going through them all manually?thanks for any tips!

Dear community,I am a student right now and working with Miro in my university courses. We have a big white board where every student uploads his/her work to present the state they are at after a week. The student who presents will have all the other students following so that the presenting student can zoom in/out and drag around the board.The problem I am having is, that every time it is my turn to present and everybody starts following me I simply cannot zoom in/out or drag the board around anymore. Other students don’t have problems like me but some others do have the same problems. Every time I share a link to a miro board, either in a 3rd party app like Teams, or indeed in miro itself, all I get is this generic link preview. It doesn’t even have the name of the board. Does anyone know why?
I accidentally clicked no access to all team members on a Miro Board share. The board is completely gone even for myself and I created it.Please tell me there is a way to get it back?!
Hello!I have various tags on a cards in a timeline to identify gaps, benefits etc with each card. I can filter the tags using the filter feature but is there a way to copy past these into a list format easily or view the list of gaps easily as a team?
I am using an iPad Pro 12.9, the Magic Keyboard with built-in touchpad. I would expect the same experience with a Macbook Touchpad. This is not the case. Two finger gesture does not move the canvas. Two finger pinch does zoom in/out only erratically. I’ve tried the different navigation settings mouse, trackpad, touchscreen but there is no difference. Tried in:miro native app Safari browser Chrome browser Firefox browseron iPadOS 14.4.2, latest version of miro app.
Hi Miro Heroes ! Maybe this has been questioned before (but i didn’t found )I use Miro, mostly for Agile Ceremonies and even for PI plannings and other Scrum stages. I would like to enhance Miro. Can you, experienced Miro users, tell me how and when you use it? It really helps within the remote work and narrow the difficulties? How is your team response and feedback regardin Miro ? Hi everyone, I have the question on how to delete users as an admin. i am a team admin (showed in the list of active users- and I am the only one). But I am unable (no three dots available to delete all other users) to delete users. I just saw that I am obviously (With the same email address) a member and a Team admin at the same time…The fact is that I created this space and I want to keep it with my crowd. What to do?

Hi,I followed all of the instructions I can find about deleting an account (I simply want to try again from scratch). I registered with AppleID where it creates a unique email address for this account that is ‘supposed’ to be routed by Apple to my ‘real’ email.Every time I delete the account, it tells me will receive a confirmation email. I never get that email. I double checked the settings in my AppleID account and it clearly shows that the anonymous Miro email is registered and should be routed to me.Any ideas?Thanks,David
I’m brand new to Miro and working on creating a large board for facilitating an all day workshop for a smallish group. I initially started by copying over some templates, but as I got comfortable I just started creating my own thing. I’ve discovered that I’m having to use text sizes of 900 for example, and the zoom is set to just a few %. Is there any problem with this? Should I be targeting using “normal” text sizes and doing everything at 100%, or is it totally irrelevant as long as I keep things in proportion to one another?I’m worried that I’m going to get even more hours into setting this up and suddenly realize that actually having apparently huge everything actually screws me up somehow.Any thoughts much appreciated! Just wanted to flag this, but I have a new M1 Mac and when I try to log into Miro via the plugin (so I can sync stuff), it immediately crashes. I can probably run Sketch in Rosetta to avoid this, but then I lose the performance gains. Right now I’ve just been exporting and uploading to Miro separately, but hoping you can update the plugin in the near future!
I’ve recorded a little screen video to explain it better. I’ve got a text box, with a lot of text. I tap once to mark the text box as “active”. I tap double, to where I want to edit text. The default behaviour is, that the cursor appears *always* at the end of the text. This is means that the board view is scrolling down the text box and I might loose the focus on where I wanted to edit. Is it possible to switch into edit mode and place the cursor where I tapped immediately? Video Link: https://streamable.com/9vkof0
My education account seems to have de-activated, but when I try to reactivate, it will not let me upload “proof”. Those boxes are greyed out. I cannot add a new board for my new class this semester. Help!!!!
I am trying to package MIRO for mass deployment of 3.500 staff at TWG, the Windows store version has issues with our SSO product OKTA, the Desktop version does not work when using the command “-s” as suggested in its registry install path, however if i run it manually via command prompt the application installs. Furthermore the applications silent uninstall command also does not work. Looking forward to a solution. Cam Harris.

Currently there is no event type to indicate if the widget is being updated (We are not interested in WIDGETS_TRANSFORMATION_UPDATED which fires the position/size changes)Supported EventType: "SELECTION_UPDATED" | "WIDGETS_CREATED" | "WIDGETS_DELETED" | "WIDGETS_TRANSFORMATION_UPDATED" | "ESC_PRESSED" | "ALL_WIDGETS_LOADED" | "COMMENT_CREATED" | "CANVAS_CLICKED" | "DATA_BROADCASTED" | "RUNTIME_STATE_UPDATED" | "METADATA_CHANGED" | "ONLINE_USERS_CHANGED"As a workaround we thought we could use the SELECTION_UPDATED event to trigger the action after widget updated but then there is no modified timestamp against the widget to detect if any changes happened. Is there any workaround or hack to approach this problem?
