I’m a Maths teacher that uses Miro to teach students from all over the world. I must admit that I find the board sharing settings quite confusing. I’d love to use Miro for our online exams, but I’m not confident enough about setting these up so that students couldn’t cheat using Miro. I’ve had some fellow Miro Heroes advise me, but I’m sure that there are others out there too that would benefit from a more simplified, streamlined approach to board sharing settings. Harry
I teach Maths to students all over the world using Miro. My students and I would love easier ways of drawing straight lines. We would love a tool that creates a straight line between two points: each click of the line. At the moment, drawing a straight line on Miro with a precise gradient requires lots of careful manipulation; drawing straight lines precisely is important in Mathematics. We have now worked out that we can press ‘Ctrl’ or ‘Cmd’ to turn off snapping, but it’d be great if that aspect were a bit more intuitive in the Miro UI. Thanks very much! Harry
I teach students from all over the world Maths using Miro. I’d love to be able to use Miro on our open days, but I worry about nefarious individuals being able to paste anything onto the board. It’d be great to be able to have greater control over whether individuals can write on the board; I need to make sure invaders couldn’t paste something pornographic/offensive on the board! Similarly, it’d be great to be able to allow Guests to the board to manually name their pointers, without creating a Miro account, as this creates a bit of friction when using it with Guests. Harry
I’m a Maths teacher that uses Miro to teach students from all over the world. My students love using Miro to write their homeworks, but manually putting their work into A4 sized frames for export is a bit painful at the moment. This Miro framer tool is helpful, but setting it up and using it isn’t easy enough to be student friendly. It’d be great for students to be able to import a PDF, use the pen tool to annotate over it, and then easily export it as a high quality PDF. Editing PDFs is a real pain generally: I see so much potential for using Miro to do this with far less friction than expensive PDF editors if Miro can implement a more streamlined approach to automatically framing PDFs ready for export. Hi, I’m on free plan, but some time ago Miro gave me an extra personal board as a gift. I don’t really need it, but I cannot delete it, there’s no such button. A couple of days ago I received a notification that this board will become public in a few days and then one of my other booards, which I do need, will become inactive. What can I do to prevent it? Will I be able to delete the private board when it becomes public? Thank you in advance!

Hi All, I have added a board to my account in error and i do not have the option to delete the board from my account. This is made on of my key boards Read Only which I don't want to do. Any help greatly appreciated.
Hi all. I’ve just created my first board. However, I’m unable to replicate the picture diagram. I’m unsure on how to create the double lined arrow as seen in picture 1 and the container containing BU requirements, REG OBS and Contract OBS. Can someone please advise how to go about it?That’ll be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello! Here's an idea to prevent wrongful mass deletions:When a user is about to delete multiple items at once from a board, there should be a deletion button for them to click on "confirm" to finalize the deletion.Reason: A user from our team selected everything using the keyboard and ended up deleting nearly all the cards and notes (13k items) from our board at once, causing significant confusion in the company until we were able to restore them.
