Ctrl+D - duplicate function

When in notes, Type a note, press Ctrl+ D creates a new blank note.  Really useful.

I would like to do the same in any shape.  eg, create a rectangle, type some notes in it, press Ctrl+D and it creates a new identical box with no text ready to start typing.

Least worst alternative, I use mouse to click on one of the blue link buttons and it creates a duplicate shape that way with a link.  This is great but slow - i need to switch to mouse to complete the function

Combining the two without having to move from keyboard to mouse would be magic.

Just being able to duplicate the box using Ctrl+D would be a great start.

Thanks

Marc - I found that function while seeing if my Ctrl+D existed outside Notes.  Its brilliant but not what I was looking for.  Have been using it loads since then

I build a webinar scrip by creating a shape, typing my topic, then linking to the the next topic box and so on.  I keep them all same shape - rectangle with rounded corners and keep going horizontal till I get to a natural; break (6 or seven boxes wide)  - then go back over changing shapes and colours to insert Pains and Case Studies and CTA reminders

Could use notes but it seems too informal for me but speed is of the essence to keep the flow going hence want to keep it all on keyboard.
