Remove board Cover image

I set a board Cover image and there does not appear to be an option to remove the Cover. It looks like I can only select another Cover image or, from within the board, select a Preview area of the board to be the Cover.

Feature request: Option to remove a board Cover image or Preview area.

As a workaround @Rob Johnson , why not just select a blank area of the board via the Preview area option? Since the default cover is just a little grey square inside a white square, an empty area of the canvas should suffice…

Thanks, Kiron. I had already done that as a work around.

There seems to be no option to set a part of the board as a cover as of now. What’s more, it didn’t update when I completely rearranged the content of the board so I was stuck with old work, not relevant to current board use. I uploaded a new image as the only way to change it. More options in regards to customization of board cover would be very helpful in managing them.

@Norbert - You can select a part of the board as a cover by:

  1. open board
  2. click on board title
  3. click Select preview area (should be called “cover”, to be consistent)
  4. you will then be given the open to select an area of the board, similar to setting a board’s start view
