Would there be a quick and dirty way to create a random number widget/addin which could be used for things like simulating a coin flip or rolling a dice? Right now, I’m using an external URL to Google Dice but would prefer something which didn’t require learners to jump out of their class boards. Thanks! Kiron
Hi! I accidentally selected all the items on my board, deleted them and then refreshed the page. Now there is now undo button. I never downloaded a backup so I can’t restore the board. Is there a way to revert the board to previous state?
My question is in the title, but i am wondering whether I am missing something… :\
When I am trying to export a frame as a vector pdf, the text on the majority of the Sticky Notes on the board disappears and does not show on the pdf. Does anybody know why this is happening and how I can get around this? Thank you.
I copy image from Photoshop and it appears in Miro. Now i want to copy it back but Ctrl+C do not copy image back to clipboard. Its very hard for concept artist use Miro as reference board/mood board tool because its hard to copy content back from it to professional software.
As of around 11am this morning the two finger pinch for zoom isn’t working. I’ve switched back and forth between navigation modes, closed out and logged back in, but nothing is working. Anyone having this problem? Any fixes?

Например, еще вчера я могла дать ссылку с правом Edit на 1 из 2 моих досок, сегодня у меня такая возможность закрыта словом betta и меня кидает на тарифный план, где Free - до 3х досок с возможностью Edit. Но я не использовала эти 3, у меня всего 2…. Вообще не понимаю, что случилось за ночь… я начинаю паниковать, где еще произошли изменения и закрытие для меня тех возможностей, которыми еще вчера я пользовалась?
Hi, All:I teach three different classes. I’d like students in class A to see and edit a collection of boards during the semester. I’d like students in class B to see and edit a completely different set of boards. Same for class C.Since the Education plan doesn’t support multiple teams, the solution that I came up with is to use Projects as a way to organize boards for each class.Since I’m new to Miro it took me a while to figure out all the steps so I thought I’d share in case it helps anyone else get up to speed quicker.Please comment if you have other suggestions.
Before the latest update, I could group any objects on the board with other objects - frames, shapes, text, sticky notes, images. Today, I can only group objects of the same type. Half the time I add something different now, the option to group disappears.Sometimes I can group different types of objects, but it seems arbitrary - I could group 2 text boxes with multiple shapes, but when I added the third text box, the ability to group disappeared. Sometimes I can’t add a different type of object at all without the ability to group disappearing. If I select multiple types of objects at once with the left click&drag, I don’t get the option no matter what.Is this broken for anyone else? Is this a bug with the latest update?

I am very new to Miro and my Q. is this: I am planning on running a virtual workshop using either Zoom or Skype (undecided at this time)-and I am looking for a “whiteboard” feature that will allow me to draw or type notes so that my virtual workshop participants can see these notes. Does Miro work with Zoom/Skype, and if so, how? I appreciate any guidance on this….many thanks:)
Is there any way to restore deleted team or board this team belong?Did a cleanup and delete deprecated teams from my account but important board I'm looking for was assigned with old team. A bit shocked now. As an improvement why not to place boards name on the popup with warning(not only numbers of boards to be deleted.
Like many of you, I am using Miro for live online participatory workshop events. Almost all of the people attending my events are brand new to Miro, and by far the most difficult part of the workshop is getting them over that first hurdle of learning how to use the tool well enough to participate. Half of the difficulty is teaching them what they should avoid doing by accident! This is much more difficult for people who are not digital natives, and in larger groups it is almost guaranteed that at least one participant will be lost and frustrated. What have you tried? What worked best?
I was working with a student and suddenly his toolbar vanished somehow. He nor his mom could find it. It was embarrassing because I had raved about the site and they spent a bit of time setting up the account and getting it up and running. I could see my toolbar on the left side but his was missing. It worked at first. Is there a setting on his end that he accidentally hid it or did it erase. He could type by clicking on the screen and clicking on the T. But I really needed him to be able to write with the pencil. Any advice?
Hey, I got shared Miro board URL with me, and I can open it in my browser. But I cannot find any option in Miro’s Windows App to open there this board from URL. Is it even possible, or for URL-shared boards I can view them only via Webbrowser?
Hi there, New to Miro. I’ve created a board that I want to share in a training course tomorrow. I’ve prebuilt all my content. When I share the board, it shows everything highlighted as updated by me. The issue I have is that this is the first time people are seeing it, so they don’t need to see what’s changed. Is there a way I can turn this “feature” off? S
Elements on my Miro board are being automatically locked and it drives me crazy.I created a collaboration space and lock everything on the board accept for text boxes I've asked people to fill in. I check and double check: the frame is locked, some elements are locked, text boxes are not. And then, when I come back to the board after a while (a day or so), all element are locked, including the text boxes I'm absolutely sure I didn't lock. I'm afraid people can't fill in the text boxes when they're locked so I keep returning to the board to unlock the text boxes. I've repeated this 5 times now and it drives me crazy.How is this possible, and what can I do about it?
Hey guys, Just FYI, I recently came across Figmiro in Figma. It’s basically a plugin you can use mostly the same way as the Sketch plugin. So, essentially you can re-export all your frames and keep the connections of your flow or any other changes you may have added. It’s not perfect but it’s certainly a live-saver for me. I had an existing Sketch file which was working fine when we used the Miro plugin it sync the artboard to Miro. We could work without issue, update the artboard on the Sketch file and then resync to miroThis would then replace any existing instance with the update art boardWe upgraded to Sketch 87.1.Now if we try an resync it to the Miro board we get an error“An error occured.There was an error during syncing. Please Try again”If we create new artboard in the doc and sync that it works as expected. Plus we can update and resync without issue.
If yes, could you share your experience?Any performance issues?
Hello - in the Monthly Planner template, it shows a number for the amount of tasks that day, is there any way to delete that or not show it?
I was cruising along and all was well… when all of the sudden the select tool stopped working as usual. For some reason ( while in mouse navigation mode ) left clicking the canvas alway uses the Pan Tool rather than drawing a selection box as expectd. So.. Select the selection tool or push V on the keyboard while in mouse navigation mode click on canvas holding down the button and dragging instead of dragging out a selection box the tool mysteriously changes to the Pan Tool and pan’s the keyboard???Previously I would use space bar to pan the keyboard. Now it’s just broken? Thanks for your help in advance.
I am working on a MacBook Air. I have downloaded the Design Sprint template of Jake Knapp but I don’t see the talktracks in it. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
How are other people managing having many boards with passwords across a massive project with multiple teams?How I’m doing it: I have one board where I put all the board names, the links and the passwords - but it’s getting crazy. Does anyone have a better way of doing it?We need password protection on the boards because the information within them is sensitive and shouldn’t be shared across the entire organisation. We have many subfolders / sub-projects that are working well within the MIRO dashboard, but I need to know links and passwords across multiple teams and projects. I can’t even give access to my password board to the larger team because not all team members should have access to all these boards (so it’s password protected too!!). So I suppose I could probably have different management boards :-( for different levels of access.We (as a team and organisation) need to find a better way to manage our MIRO boards and passwords - so looking for ideas of what works for you.
