Hi,In my Miro Enterprise Environment I have several Teams and serveral hundred users active. I want to create a “Landing Team” where all new users are added to and can find information about our environment and so on.But obviously I want to make this Team (and the board in it) also visible to all other users. Is there a way to add them without them getting an information mail, which they receive if I simply “Invite” them to the team? I want to allow them to access the information board, but not create confusion why they are suddenly in a new team.Regards, Alex
Our company just ditched Lucid and I’ve imported all of my AWS diagrams (in a .vsdx format). However, I immediately see that a large number of AWS icons from anything equal to or newer than the AWS 2019 shape library are not being translated upon import. I assumed this was because the shape was missing from your library, but suprisingly, a lot of them are there. Some examples are WAF, Lambda, ALB, NLB… were there but the shape wasn’t used upon import. All I get is a silhouette of the shape that is a solid color. PostgreSQL, PostgreSQL Proxy, and VPC Endpoint Service are just non-existent for example. This is a horrible experience especially for a VERY standard format of .vsdx. I would understand if this was a proprietary Lucid format but Visual Studio has been around forever. Please make this better. I have too much work already built that is AWS compliant to have to effectively redraw everything. Please fix this. The AWS shape library is also incomplete and I’m unable to accurately dra
Hello, I would like to add a user to our Miro team who can open and work only on specific boards. The person is an external collaborator so I would like to select only a few boards that the person can edit and don’t touch other projects (we have dozens of projects in the Miro). Can you help me with how I can achieve this? Thanks, Michal
Hi crew,Hope your December is off to a great start. I can’t believe 2023 is so close! As the year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on processes that I can improve in the new year. In particular, I’m zeroing in on a better way to fairly assign work. One of the biggest learnings for us at Use All Five this year came out of our DEI Training with Peoplism - that your employees may find a different level of value in each project than management believes. It’s crucial for employees to feel valued and like their career is progressing, so this exercise of aligning on what’s considered a “High Value” vs. a “Low Value” project becomes paramount to retention. They provided this worksheet for us that we’ve been using. My plan is to turn this into something in the Miroverse soon. I’m curious to hear from you:How are you assigning work at your company? Do you look through the lens of high / low value projects currently? Is this a Miro template you would use? Or is this better suited in another
Hi I left a team from an old training I did at my previous job, thinking that was ok. But I lost my board. Any way someone can help me get it back. It was several hours of work for developing a theory of change activity for my team, we are a non-profit. Help getting the board back would be amazing! So sorry I Made this mistake! Thank you,Bonnie UPDATE: was able to mostly re-create my board pretty quickly, so all is well. Can’t delete my post, sorry about that.
Hello,The formatting options for the Mind Map appears to be missing or is inconsistent between the single selection options and the multiple selection options for color. I believe this was a feature before and may have changed in the recent months. It’s now very tedious to change the color for multiple items in a mind map as now each individual item needs to be changed. Can the feature of change the color for multiple selected items in the mind map be added?Screenshots below show the current state and how the color option is absent.Mind Map - Single Selection Color OptionsMind Map - Multiple Selection Options (Color Missing)
Hello just wondering if this is possible or just a bugI would like to open a google meet then launch Miro. When inside Miro whiteboard i would than like to share my screen of a cad model using rhino or solidworks. This would then allow people inside the chat to take snapshots of the model and post them into the whiteboard and keep the discussion going. Is this possible? It seems to only allow me to share my current tab which is pointless because its the same as the Miro whiteboard tab. I guess I could have one tab with the Miro white board open and one with the Google Meet sharing the screen but would really like everything on one tab if possible
The background (board) grid appears to be in units of 24. Half of 24 is 12 and a quarter is 6. Design systems, video standards and font measurements almost always use binary units for example 4, 8, 16 as units of scale.Take for example the standard video dimension HD which is 1280 by 720. If the grid unit was 16 both the height and width of the video would align perfectly with the grid. With a grid of 24 the width of the video is 1280 / 24 = 53.33333333333 units and... oh dear now I can’t snap spacing.Of course you could always let users control their grid size which would be perfect but Miro doesn’t appear to be that kind of product from what I’ve seen.
Hello to the Miro team,I've seen this for years, people are asking you guys to create an offline mode, but until now it doesn't seem to exist!?I introduced Miro to our company and everyone in the team would like an offline mode. We would like to do preliminary work in miro and prepare things that will later be synchronized in online mode.An offline mode similar to the Adobe Cloud solution would be of great help. Many Thanks

Hello,I am a mathematics PhD student with experience in mathematics education. I really enjoy using Miro for maths tutoring.Another piece of software I really like using is GeoGebra, an interactive mathematics education tool. It would be perfect if there was a way to add GeoGebra functionality within Miro, especially as you can create applets that students can interact with and explore abstract mathematical concepts.I would like to ask if there any plans to embed this feature into Miro, or if anyone has already done it?
