Inquiry About Advanced Search Capabilities in Miro

STILL NOT RESOLVED - FRAMES EXPORTING IN CORRECT ORDER

@Bobby Bracelin - I just did a few tests with expected ends results.Test 1 - I Ctrl-left-clicked three frames in the order I wanted them to be as pages in a PDF: The result was as selected: three page PDF, with frames 4, 2, and 6 as pages 1, 2, 3. Test 2 - Order in left frames sidebar and then export board. After the screenshot, I changed the order to: it exported as: I tried Small file size and Best quality for both tests, so four exports in total.Can you share more details of what steps you are taking? iObeya to MIRO Conversion

@EGrime - Re having other data exported from iObeya as XLSX, you can copy-paste spreadsheet cells onto a Miro board at which point you will be prompted if to create either Sticky Notes or a Table.If your Tasks are work items/independent objects, e.g., Jira or Trello cars, you could re-create them as Miro sticky notes. Next, you would select all of the sticky notes and from the context menu you could use the switch type action to change them in Miro Cards, Text, or Shapes. Unfortunately, you would lose of the your meta data as the spreadsheet cell-to-sticky note has a 1:1 relationship, meaning, the cell text becomes the sticky note text.Another option to be out of iObeya, but to maintain more task data is to import the task data into a Jira project as Jira issues and then use the Miro Jira Cards app to sync the Cards to a Miro board.

@Dani Murray - Welcome to the Community!I’m investigating Miro for the company I work for and wondering which plan to go with.  We would like to use it to run workshopsThe Starter Plan would work for this purpose, as it supports editing by Visitors, which is where the board participants would not need a Miro account to access and edit objects on the board, e.g., sticky notes.“Guests” is a slightly different feature where the participant would need to have a Miro account - even a free account is fine. The Guests feature lets yougive non-team members different access, e.g., one of the guests needs to edit, while another only needs to add comments. the board can only be accessed by those you explicitly add to the board, as opposed to the the board being set to “Anyone with the link”, i.e., Visitors access and someone with the link ends up sharing it (unintentionally or not) with people whom you do not want on the board.The Guests feature is only available for the Business and Enterprise p

New team member can not see project structure

How to copy boards containing Talktracks between plans? Export/import doesn't include the Talktracks.

@Darren Thatcher‘duolicate’ won’t work:  that will simply ‘copy-n-paste’ one board to another within the same Miro Plan (the client’s).What I’m seeking is a ‘move’ (from client’s Miro Subscription/Plan to my own (the consultant’s plan))As long as you are the owner of a board, you will have the “move” action, so you can “move” a board to another team space: I suggested duplicating the board first in case, for example, you created a board for your client and wanted them to have a copy (with a Talktrack) but you also wanted a copy with a Talktrack. Again, if you do not want them to have a copy, then you would just move the board. Note: This will only work if (a) your account profile, i.e., email address, is a member of both teams and (b) you are the owner of the board.

Screenshots are not visible to team members on the board

@Mariya_Kiryanova - Your title says “team members”, but your description appears to be talking out one specific team member, so I will ask:Is this happening for for all teams (other than yourself) or just one? If just one, and that member is using a browser, have they tried: clearing their browser cache signing out and back in disabling all browser extensions (an incognito window usually accomplishes this) Other things to try: temporarily disabling any VPN/antivirus/malware protection another network connection (if available) another computer/device, e.g., phone or tablet (if available) another browser the Miro desktop app

@Darren Thatcher - If you need to maintain a copy of the board in its current location, then you could duplicate the board and move one of the boards (the original or the duplicate - consider if the original was perhaps linked to from somewhere, if so, leave it behind) to the new team space/subscription - the caveat with this scenario is that your Miro account profile needs to be the owner of the board, and a member of both team spaces.If you do not need to maintain a copy of the boards, you can skip the "duplicate" step and just move them.Let us know if that doesn't work!

Hi @DuncanW. There are currently two ways around this – both while an object is select, you can do the following to get out of edit mode and into pan mode:Click on the Select action at the very top of your left-vertical app toolbar – doing this is essentially the “pan button” you are asking for. Another option is to press and hold your keyboard’s space bar – this toggles pan on/off (no GIF example).

[INVESTIGATING] How to insert an image on iPad by pasting from clipboard

@Semen Erokhin - While I don’t have an iPad, I have found the same appears to be true from my Galaxy Tab S9 (Android) tablet – the paste action (initiated from a double-tap of the Miro board canvas) appears to be limited to within the tablet app’s internal clipboard.I looked through Miro’s help center Tablet app article and cannot find any mention of this limitation, so I opened a support ticket and will update this post with what they tell me.For now, the only solution appears to be – what you noted and the Tablet app help center article confirms – which is to first save the image to your tablet and then upload it:

Hello, @Ali Razavi and welcome to the Community!There is no currently no way to do this within Miro itself, but seeing as Presenter Notes is still a beta feature at the time of this post, perhaps this is already on Miro’s list of future enhancements.However, to request this as a feature, I will move your post to the Wish List idea forum for upvoting by others.For any future ideas, I’d recommend posting in the Wish List category by following the guidelines here: Wish List: Everything You Need to Know.WorkaroundI did not that, when I have the Presenter Notes window open in Chrome, I can zoom in by using Ctrl/Cmd+mouse wheel (or Ctrl/Cmd+/-) to zoom in out to adjust the font size and this does not appear to impact the other/Miro board window.

(un)lock frames

@Helga Mayr - This is not currently possible. The only workaround that comes to mind is to use the Board Co-owner feature, which comes with a few (tedious) caveats:It is only available for Business and Enterprise Plan subscribers for every board where a team member may need to unlock something, but Guests or Visitors should not, the board owner would need to add every team member who should be able to unlock objects (frames included) as a Co-owner of the board.
