Introducing the new hide and reveal setting for frames – manage what frames are hidden and visible on your shared boards and control when content is revealed to your participants during meetings and workshops.Board owners can now control visibility of frames. Hide content so that it stays private until the right moment to share it. Stay in control of when content is revealed on the board so you can set the stage, design workshops content step-by-step, and maintain a private space on your boards. Available on all paid plans. We are introducing anonymous Guest Editors – the quickest and easiest way to invite collaborators that don’t have the Miro account yet. Invite anyone outside Miro to collaborate with your team on your public board without any friction or additional costs. Guest Editors don’t have to sign in or sign up for Miro to have full access rights to the board that is shared with them via a public link. Organize remote meetings, brainstorming sessions, and workshops in minutes – simply make your Miro board public and share the link with workshop participants. Don’t worry about losing access to the board if you accidentally close the tab or refresh it – as long as the board is public, it will be shared with Guest Editors. Take control of your (virtual) space with Miro’s improved timer plugin! Set your timer during group activities to keep everyone on track and play background music to get people in the right mindset. The improved timer allows you to:Time box an activity such as brainstorming or voting Pause the timer when needed Add time to the timer with the click of a button Choose royalty free background tunes The new timer plugin is available on Education, Team, Consultant, Business, and Enterprise plan. A few feature appears to be out of beta and has started showing up on various accounts, so I figured I would post about it.The feature? I’m unofficially calling it: Board Content Copy Permissions.As it turns out, I was close with the name. Here’s a link to the official Help Center article → Board Content settings DISCLAIMERI don’t work for Miro.Everything I am sharing with you here is what I discovered today on my own (and I will surely get some of it wrong). I have no idea when this will be available to other users or on which plan types.In short, this feature lets the board owner specify who should be allowed to copy content from within your board or the entire board, i.e., Duplicate it.The discoveryMy spouse had this new feature pop up on her Education Plan today. With Miro block by Notion, you can embed publicly shared boards into any of your Notion pages. Just type /miro on the page to get started. Learn more about Notion Embeds here. As some of you already noticed grids are now tables in Miro. The new name comes with the updated functionality – you can now merge cells, and copy content from spreadsheets! Hello Community, We’re excited to announce that you can now create diagrams using code with Mermaid and PlantUML apps right in Miro. With these apps you can automate the process of generating complex diagrams with a simple text language — so you don’t have to worry about design and layout. No need to align diagrams or manually update designs — design and layout are automatically applied Copy your diagram code from other sources like GitHub or Notion to automatically re-create your diagram in Miro Visit the Marketplace to install Mermaid and PlantUML Note, in this first version code will generate an image. We’re curious to hear your feedback and input for the next version Updates!Both apps support editing (only on newly created diagrams). To edit, select the image generated by one of the apps and then click the toolbar icon. The source of the original diagram will be loaded in the editor. We’ve been especially focused on improving Miro UX in the past two to three months, and Auto Layout has been one of those changes we implemented to help our users work in Miro faster and more intuitively than ever before. Hi everyone, Melissa here from the Product Marketing team at Miro. We have another update for you this week. Accidentally delete your board? No need to worry — you can now access and restore boards that have been deleted in the last 30 days. Restoring boards from Trash is available for Team, Business, Consultant, Education, and Enterprise plans only. If you’re on the free plan, there are a few options for you. When you delete a board, you’ll see a confirmation notification where you can click “Undo.” You can also restore the board if you have the board URL. The easiest way to find the link is to search for the name of the board in your browser history or your email inbox. For more information, visit our Help Center to learn more.
