For all the Confluence and Jira users out there, we’re excited to announce a new update that makes it even easier to bring Miro into your Confluence pages and Jira issues with Atlassian Smart Links!Try out the three new Miro display options: an inline link, a card view, or a fully embedded board so you can easily build a whiteboard into your workflows. To add a Miro Smart Link, simply paste your board URL link on a Confluence page or Jira ticket or type “/link” to insert. A full embed, where anyone with the appropriate permissions can view, comment, or edit the live board. Note: The board permissions are what is set in the board sharing settings.

A few feature appears to be out of beta and has started showing up on various accounts, so I figured I would post about it.The feature? I’m unofficially calling it: Board Content Copy Permissions. As it turns out, I was close with the name. Here’s a link to the official Help Center article → Board Content settings DISCLAIMERI don’t work for Miro.Everything I am sharing with you here is what I discovered today on my own (and I will surely get some of it wrong). I have no idea when this will be available to other users or on which plan types. In short, this feature lets the board owner specify who should be allowed to copy content from within your board or the entire board, i.e., Duplicate it.The discoveryMy spouse had this new feature pop up on her Education Plan today. What she saw first: Clicking the Set permissions button took me to the Team profile → Permissions page where there is a new Board content settings section at the bottom: Note: From my testing in an Education Plan, only

Hey fam 👋, OAuth 2.0 is here! And with it comes improved security and stricter compliance protocols, creating a stronger authentication between Miro and Jira. Note: OAuth 2.0 is only supported for Jira Cloud customers. Jira Server & Data Center customers will still need to use OAuth 1.0x.What is OAuth 2.0: It is an industry standard protocol for authorization. To learn more about OAuth 2.0 as a technical concept, click here. What it means for Miro users:When authenticating the Jira integration with OAuth 2.0, users can import issues from multiple Jira instances into a board. What Miro users need to do: Existing Jira Integration user New user No action required. However, if you want to update your authentication method from OAuth 1.0x to OAuth 2.0 (specific to Jira Cloud customers), a Miro Admin will need to update the Jira integration settings following these instructions <<here>> Interested in installing and using the Jira integration?

Hey Miro Fam 👋,We have a cool new update for all you who run retros, workshops and brainstorm sessions. Introducing Private Mode, a new feature that allows you to create space to share input. Give teams a private space to reword, prepare and reflect within a meeting, encouraging more feedback and diverse insights. How it works: Any editor on the board can activate Private mode. While the mode is active, participants can enter their opinions on sticky notes in private, with the content invisible to others (authors will continue to be visible). Any of the editors can end the mode and upon ending, contents of all sticky notes will be revealed. Private Mode in actionHead to your Miro board and try it out, and don't forget to share your feedback with us here on Miro Communities. Enjoy your new private space!ShubangiPS: Available on all paid plans

Do you remember those cases when you select all content on the board and accidentally delete it? Yeah, I know this feeling The good news is that now, when you select all of the content from your board (containing more than 100 widgets) and try to delete it, you will see a confirmation modal.Hopefully, this will help our users prevent accidental content deletion Just a reminder that you can find all product updates in the Changelog.
Frames are an essential feature that helps structure your content on Miro boards. Here are the two of the most recent enhancements: Automatic numeration for frame names: if you call your first frame 'Frame name 1', we'll be automatically adding the next number to the name of the next frame you add to the board ('Frame name 2', 'Frame name 3', etc) Better rendering of frame names when you're zoomed out of the board to increase perceivability of board content
