In this wireframe, I want to insert some space and add more content. How can I do that?
Currently, I select all the elements and drag them down. This is painful.

Adding space in the Wireframe indeed requires to move the elements within it (when an element is selected, you can also move it using the CMD + directional arrows shortcut).
