Hi @yuuki tanaka,

Thank you for reporting this issue! It sounds like there may be a problem with how Miro handles Japanese IME (Input Method Editor) input.

To troubleshoot, please try the following:

  1. Use a different browser – If you're using Chrome, try Firefox, Edge, or Safari.
  2. Disable browser extensions – Some extensions may interfere with text input.
  3. Clear cache and cookies – This can sometimes resolve unexpected input behavior.
  4. Use the Miro desktop app – If you're experiencing this in a browser, try the Miro app instead.

If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to Miro Support with details about your OS, browser, and IME settings so they can investigate further. Let me know if you need help with this! 😊

I have tried all the workarounds, but the issue remains unresolved 😥

Several colleagues using Miro in a Japanese environment are experiencing the same issue. There is a delay of several seconds in all text input, and I hope this issue is resolved soon.

I have already submitted a feedback report to Miro.
