I know we have the most creative community here @Kiron Bondale started a similar thread a year ago, and it was so cool to see the amazing artworks and get inspired! I want to revive this challenge, so please share screenshots of your coolest artwork made natively with Miro (pen drawings, sticky note art, shapes geometry, etc). For inspiration, visit this thread I will check this post again on Sept 28 - a submission which will have the most number of likes will get some Miro Swag!
I’ve been using Presentation Mode a fair bit in recent times, and there’s a couple of things which I believe would be a great update.1. A “home” frameRather than using the LinkTo option is return a presentation back to a single frame throughout a presentation, it would be awesome if you could effectively duplicate the frame in the setup of Presentation Mode so that the team can be re-oriented with the home throughout the presentation.eg An Agenda frame. Once each section of an agenda is done, have the agenda frame as the ‘next’ frame in the Presentation Mode setup - reordering of Frames. At present, I have to either use LinkTo or put multiple frames around the agenda. Neither of those are ideal. Lock/Unlock frames in Frame setup These just aren’t enough options. I’d love quick access to Lock/Unlock a frame and all its contents Hide Frame names This one is really unimportant, very much a “nice to have if a developer is bored” haha.Being able to quickly hide the frame names and lines. Hi everyone! McCall from Miro here. I love hearing all of your inspiring stories. I was wondering how Miro has helped you (and your companies) connect and continue working through the last year when in-person work and connection wasn’t possible.
i am running a workshop with non-techie managers. does anyone have a cheat-sheet or short presentation to tell them all they need to participate in brainstorming, inserting text onto frameworks, and stickie creation/movement? and zooming in/out to find items.
Hello, I’m wondering what features are planned in the short and medium term for Miro? If we get the product, what new things will be released soon that we can take advantage of, on top of all of the current functionality? Also are there any other integration points with Azure DevOps or Sharepoint planned at all? Many thanks Natalie
I cannot find answers to the technical side of how to set up a workshop. I want to run a training session with fewer than 20 people (initially just 5 or so) - I’ve learnt how to manage all the features but when I tried it out we struggled to all see the board we were working on. I need an idiots’ guide - do I just use share? What is the presentation option for? Can I get it so when I move the board around the participants see what I’m doing (I had to keep saying, ‘It’s under that, on the left’. We were using Zoom - is that the normal way? I’m close to giving up at the moment.
Hi everyoneWe’re looking into extending our product template library, and realised we don’t have many templates that help facilitate team meetings & workshops. If there are any great templates that you use with your team and would love to see in Miro, let us know!

I am working with groups of 30 . Is there a way to easy ask for feedback in a group (like yes no?) . Like if people can say “ok” with a button so we know that everybody is in place and everything is working? Like voting but just very quick and not depending on space. Thank you!

We’ve been tracking all the canceled in-person conferences. What’re your thoughts on event organizers pivoting to virtual conferences? We did this last year with Distributed 2019 and wrote up some of our learnings here: https://miro.com/blog/remote-conferences/ Has your company instituted any new work from home policies or travel bans?
A lesser known feature that is worth sharing, and one that I only recently stumbled upon by accident, is that it is possible to copy objects from one frame to another in a way that the pasted objects will end up in the exact same location as the originals.A common use case for this is that you want to add a logo to each frame for a presentation and want the logo to be in the exact same location, e.g., so their location remains static during a presentation.Note: In order for this to work exactly as expected, all frames would be the exact same size – both height and width. This is required because of how the feature works (it looks at the location of the copied object relevant to the parent/source frame, and then places it in the same x/y location in the destination frame(s). I will demo this later. How to do itSelect one or more objects in a frame Copy them Select all of the destination frames (use can use Ctrl/Cmd-click to multi select) And then paste using Ctrl/Cmd-V.Here it is in acti
Hi all, Would you consider Miro as a professional skill to put on a resume? Thanks,Victor
I do a little guitar and bass teaching in my spare time and have thought of using Miro for communicating music theory to students - would be a great teaching environment overall, particularly in terms of students asking questions / working together on pitch/harmony etc Can’t see any suitable templates so far - am I missing something?
Hi Lovely Miro Peeps :) I have been trying to use Miro to manage my PhD Research and spotted a couple of threads that are about a year old now so I wondered if anyone has also been trying to do this recently and might like to chat ?
I’m making Karma is a peer recognition and appreciation platform for businesses. Basically, we are trying to make remote work more pleasant: when colleagues say ‘thank-you’s more often, then bond better and get all sorts of emotional benefits. No one’s ever levet their job because of feeling OVERappreciated. Here at Karma, we LOVE Miro very much and admire the way it grows and develops. During one of the brainstoming sessions, the team seriously considered integrating with Miro, but we couldn’t find the relevant API for comments. Would Miro team open it up for Karma? I’ll give you a quick example on how it could work: @user comments on any board element or leaves a note: ‘@stas++ for bringing this up’ Karma gets this event and figures out that Stas has just got +1 karma from User. Karma responds to the comment/note a cool inspiring note to confirm the point was successfully gathered: ‘Cool! Stas has just got +1 karma from User. Keep it up!’. Ideally, simiarly to what we’ve done on Slac
As the Istanbul Literature House, we have completed our first digital Book Fair using Miro's unique features. It was our only second fair of independent publishers but, due to the pandemic, we weren't able to organize it in a physical space. Then we discovered Miro and started to think if it was possible to use its features to set up a digital space where publishing houses could open their stands, just like in a real fair. And it worked out beautifully. Each publishing house was able to work independently on the board, some of them prepared amazingly designed stands. We also organized 36 video events on Zoom and YouTube in nine days. Our Miro space became a place where people could see the programme (by turning the pages of a giant, pdf, booklet), find out the links of the upcoming events, watch the videos of previous events and visit each publishing houses stands to discover and buy some books. The fair has ended now, but we are keeping the board open for a second week. Instead of show

I’ve just made my first submission to the Miroverse, so hopefully it gets approved in time. I absolutely LOVE a themed retrospective, and also allowing teams to give unsolicited feedback to each other. With that in mind, I created the Valentine’s Day template.

Hi, I’m running a virtual event using Miro where we will give our client a virtual tour of our latest digital tools. There will be about 5 virtual tech stands on the board and a presentation at each one explaining what the tools do. I will help the clients navigate around the board. How can I include the clients more and get them to interact live with the person running the presentation about the tool? I’d really appreciate some ideas. Thanks.
Is no one talking about the Attention Management feature yet? This is so very welcomed and a major feature! Every session for a new group of training or workshop participants, it usually takes a while for participants to learn the "Watch my screen" instruction when I start screen sharing. Sometimes, participants didn't even see the blue 'Join' button (tip: Refresh browser/app if this happens) This Attention Management feature just shortened this entire process! Thank you, @Marina and team, more love and power to Miro :)
