Join us as @Jen Fox of Sesh gives us some background and a walkthrough of their winning template. The template was inspired by their agile, and fully remote team’s desire to have transparency into in-progress initiatives that impact the entire company. They needed a roadmap that wasn’t time based (because we are not waterfall), nor a full-time job to manage (because she is not a project manager.) This format acts as a great co-creation tool to quickly gather requirements with stakeholders and immediately see the potential impact on delivery. This roadmap showcases the greater vision and journey of the company, while providing enough detail so that anyone on the team can discern what we’re working on, and the breadth of work involved.https://events.miro.com/events/details/miro-noram-presents-noram-vmug-16-miroverse-peoples-choice-award-winning-template-agile-product-roadmap/
I wish there were more diverse human icons. With the current list of available icons it's hard to represent our user audience with the current available icons.
Hi, my name is Heri Hermawan (from Indonesia). During the pandemic, my colleagues and me at Asa Berdaya Consultant (psychological safety design in Indonesia) tried to utilize miro as a medium to optimize the counseling process. The results of this exploration showed unexpected results. Clients become more open, creative, and enjoy the counseling process. On this occasion, I would like to share this experience with interested colleagues so that they can use miro as a co-creation process for themselves or with counselors in their respective countries. It can even be a product development for your respective organization. We continue to try to build and study how to create interaction between humans in digital media by paying attention to aspects of emotion and design. For more information about us bit.ly/tanya-asaberdaya (click to connect with us on whatsapp chat)
We are currently building a digital product ecosystem map for my company, and because those ecosystem mappings in general can be very overwhelming when shown to people, I would love when I select/click a specific node to highlight its connections. People could easily identify the interactions between products and personas in non-linear ways.
Hi folksA client uses Miro, so I’m using it for a workshop in a couple of weeks. I’ve already spent some time playing to get used to the controls. Some in my group of up to 15 will know how to use it but others will be a new. The client is sending a briefing out beforehand, but they’re busy people - I won’t expect them all to have the hang of it.So, I’d really appreciate some pointers for:1 How to set up a Miro board for brainstorming and capturing thoughts, with 3-4 groups 2 How to give them a walkthrough at the start (maybe combined with an icebreaker)Thank you

Our newest Miroverse template guides you through a Lean Data & AI Marketing Strategy Workshop—with step-by-step-tutorials, box-by-box descriptions and detailed examples. It’s a specialized version (for marketing) of our popular template for a Lean Data & AI Strategy Workshop which we created for the AI in Marketing conference (Athen, April 2-3).Please give us a ♥️ on Miroverse and/or let us know what we can do better! If you are interested in a Miro Lunch & Learn for an interactive demonstration of this template, please let us know in the comments! 👇 Thank you! 🙏
Last week was the first for our product-dev teams working fully remote! So many adjustments! From our home workspaces, to communication, to coffee-making, lots of routines now look different. On Friday, when we ran the retrospective, we used Mad Sad Glad framework to share our emotions about the new order. Team was mad and sad about things like slow internet speed at home, an unstable working day, too little movement compared to going outside and walking around the office, the uncertainty, and having to cook instead of having snacks at the office But most votes were around the cluster of communication: low level of personal face-to-face communication is new for us, and we miss good old water cooler and coffee chats Though we are replacing them with Zoom coffee chats! Did you read our Ultimate Guide to Remote Work yet? We are learning to work from home together with you
This used to be such a hassle for me - I would think I’d double-clicked in to an object so I can begin text then editing and quickly hit Ctrl + A, only to find that the double click was a little off and I’m zoomed out to see the entirety of my board. Took some amount of time to zoom back in. Love that my zoom and viewport does not change, per a recent update.I recognize the feature’s been in place for a while now, just want to give a shout out to its application. Thank you for this adjustment! This kind of iterative quality of life stuff is the best. Another small quality-of-life improvement just occurred to me that I equally want to shout out - if editable text is bold, it won’t revert to regular weight when deleting all characters in the string or object. Fully deleted text used to un-bold, at which point I’d have to turn bold back on. This was updated a little longer back, just as appreciated.

I haven’t logged in to Miro for a week or two, so not sure when this feature was released, but want to give a massive shout outs to the dev and product teams for building in the Match Height and Match Width features natively to the platform. Thank you kindly! Another step in the direction of batch action is always appreciated.Unless I’m overlooking something, only additional request I have is to extend functionality beyond images to shapes as well.

Hello Miro community,I’m following up on a previous post I made about using Autodesk and Miro together for design reviews. This time, I want to dive deeper into two specific topics:Design reviews across disciplinesMany design reviews involve stakeholders who aren’t familiar with technical tools like Autodesk. How do you structure your Miro boards or facilitate discussions to make sure that non-technical participants can engage productively and meaningfully? What are the specific ways you use Miro to make them more accessible?Streamlining approvalsCapturing feedback and securing sign-offs during reviews can often be a bottleneck. What strategies or workflows have you found effective in making this process more efficient? Do you rely on Miro for this, or do you integrate other tools alongside Autodesk and Miro to manage approvals?I’d appreciate hearing how your teams navigate these challenges and any best practices you’ve developed. Some ideas from our templateOur team developed a CAD d

Hello, dear Lean-Agilists!I recently stumbled upon an article that is almost 2 years old but still highly relevant:Failed #SquadGoalsSpotify doesn’t use “the Spotify model”and neither should you.The TL;DR version is that the Spotify model – based on matrix team structures – was never fully implemented at Spotify for a number of reasons, and yet it's being copied by many companies in various industries.A lot of things strongly resonates with me. Here are some excerpts:Autonomy requires alignment. Company priorities must be defined by leadership. Autonomy does not mean teams get to do whatever they want. Processes for cross-team collaboration must be defined. Autonomy does not mean leaving teams to self-organize every problem. Collaboration is a skill that requires knowledge and practice. Managers should not assume people have an existing comprehension of Agile practices. When a company becomes big enough, teams will need dedicated support to guide planning within the team and structure

I wrote this story on Medium titled “5 IT Management Words That Should Be Banned Forever.” In essence, it’s about the kind of impact the use of some common management words might have on an organization in general and the agility of product development teams in particular. What are your thoughts on this topic? Are there any words you refrain from using? Or words you try to use extra often because it helps enable a certain mindset?
