If you are interested in a Miro Lunch & Learn for an interactive demonstration of this template, please let us know in the comments! 👇 Thank you! 🙏
Hey Everyone, Brad from Miro here. Quick question:Has anyone in our community joined a new company since the start of the pandemic? Are you working closely with people you’ve never met in person? Have you worked into a new culture without experiencing it in the office? How is it going? I’m interested in hearing your experience. What’s working well? What could companies do to make remote onboarding easier? Has Miro helped you feel connected with your team? Thanks so much for any insights you’d like to share. If you’re not comfortable sharing here, please feel free to email me at brad@miro.comThank you!
Dear Miro Support Team,I’m an English teacher in Ukraine. I work independently, and I would like use Miro as my main teaching board for online lessons. After trying different tools, I found that it fits my teaching needs best in terms of structure, interactivity, and student experience. The free plan with three active boards is quite limiting for ongoing lessons with different students. This month I subscribed to the Starter plan for $10, which fully covers my needs, but the cost would be difficult to sustain long term given the current situation and local income levels.I don’t need advanced features or a higher-tier subscription, the Starter plan is perfect for me. I’m simply looking for a way to continue using Miro for educational purposes without the monthly financial strain. If there is a possibility to receive extended access, I would be very grateful.Best regards,Yaroslava Demydenko
Hello, in my last coaching-session I used the Clusterizer in combination with my favorite tools Unsplash / Iconfinder / Stickies Michael
I am an independent consultant currently planning a workshop with ca. 100 participants. We will use Miro for facilitation during the workshop. I am looking for live advice/coaching on how to use Miro effectively with large group workshops.I would also be interested to hire someone who can co-facilitate workshops from a Miro functionality perspective. The only expertise needed is guiding participants through Miro functionality, no other subject matter expertise needed. Are you interested in this type of gig work or know someone who might be?
Hi all!One day while preparing for an upcoming retrospective, I had an idea to make the waiting time more engaging: why not let participants solve a puzzle while others were finishing their post-its? I tried uploading an image and cropping it manually, but it didn’t work very well. Then I searched online for a tool that could cut an image into squares and let me upload the pieces to Miro, but the process turned out to be time consuming and clunky. That’s when I realized: I needed something built directly into Miro.So I created Puzzleit, a Miro app that lets you upload any image and instantly turn it into a puzzle right on your Miro board. You can get it from Miro Marketplace: Puzzleit If you have any feedback or issues, please feel free to share them with me!Happy puzzling! 🧩😀
Hi Miro Heroes,This week, @Jay Melone is hosting an event where he will show how customer-centric problem framing helps drive efficiencies and innovation. I am super excited to learn about this methodology! But I’m also super curious what challenges have you encountered while trying to innovate? I feel like it’s useful to understand before we go into learning how to foster innovation and efficient problem solving. What are the challenges hindering innovation in your org? Please share in the comments! 🤔When I think about my experience working in tech, innovation is all about open communication and fast feedback loops, so anything that prevents it is bad for innovation. What do you think?

Remember last week when we were talking about Miro in different departments? Well, we’re still super curious to hear from you all.The scoopWe asked if departments other than EDP(Engineering, Development, and Product) use Miro. So, we teamed up with a sales team struggling with account planning and needed a way to visualize their processes. Here’s the scoop: Customer info was everywhere in different tools, making it tough to get a clear picture. Manually updating Salesforce data in Miro was a pain; time-consuming and error-prone. Without automatic data sync, they often had outdated info, which slowed down decision-making. The big differenceThese issues didn’t just slow them down, they also made it harder to strategize and close deals. To fix this, in addition to Salesforce for Miro app, we also created the Sales Account Planning with Salesforce Miro template, and it made a big difference. Here’s how:Account overview: The template helped the sales team map out key info about their cus

Hello, Miro company. My name is Anastasia, I conquer the vastness of design. I was doing an fictional educational project, the task of which was to create a minimalistic logo for a company called Mint (a company that sells premium portable equipment). When I finished the logo and showed it to my husband, he said that the logo was very similar to yours (a great compliment I thought). And why not offer it to you, in case the company’s designers like it. I made it with soul and heart, and I will be pleased to give it to such an advanced company founded by the guys from Perm. Project, process and task management with MiroI have started using Miro to map out processes for our company, globally. We have processes for internal business work, and for client work.I’m also using Teams with Miro to have boards, processes and tasks for different clients.Processes often require tasks to be completed by different employees and consultants.I need a way to: Create re-usable processes in Miro Assign tasks based on process steps, to employees and external consultants for completion Track the status of each task, request updates on status of each task See all tasks allocated to each employee or consultant and status of each Mark completed tasks as ‘completed’ Also, create ad-hoc tasks that sit outside regular processes or projects, and assign / track them as outlined above. I want to be able to track all of this visually. I know conceptually that there are tools like Kanban boards, and there are various task managers. Ideally I’d like to do it all within Miro, but I
This week, Piggybank Scrum Simulation by @Ellen Hermens is the Template Of The Week (or TOTW). It allows people who are new to agility to understand the different roles, artifacts and events within Scrum plus the inherent Kaizen structure. Do you like this template as much as we do? Leave Helen a compliment here, her template on Miroverse, and feel free to share your favorite Scrum templates in this thread! Voting makes template discovery easier for other members of Miro Community and supports those who are contributing to Miroverse in such a meaningful way. How do we choose TOTW? It’s a mystery! But upvoting helps!

Hello,My name is Kseniia, and I am an English teacher from Ukraine. I would like to thank you for developing such an excellent learning platform. It truly helps me keep my lessons structured, interactive, and engaging.I teach children, teenagers, and adults, and I always strive to make my classes both effective and affordable for my students. For this reason, I would like to kindly ask if there is an opportunity to use Miro free of charge or within a special educational plan.I would greatly appreciate any information you could provide.I look forward to your response.Best regards,Ksenia
Hey y’all!A while ago, Miroverse champions @Helena Brandist and @Anna Savina initiated a discussion about common pitfalls of first-time Miroverse creators. I figured a checklist might be of some help for people who want to submit templates to Miroverse, since there are a few pretty important things that are easy to miss.Enjoy!https://medium.com/@H_Stahl/creating-a-miroverse-template-heres-the-ultimate-checklist-f5684055825eAnd here’s a TL;DR community version:🛠 Start with a prototype board. When you’re done, copy-paste the content to a fresh board and submit the new board to Miroverse. 🔍 Consider the zoom level! 👑 Establish a dynamic visual hierarchy. 🕵️♀️ Give your template a searchable name (but don’t stuff it with keywords). 🔐 Group and lock shapes. 🏁 Set a start view. 👍 Give your board a nice preview thumbnail. 👩🏫 Add instructions, examples, and facilitator notes. 🗺 Make it easy for people to navigate by numbering sections.Special thanks to @Steven Sampson-Jones, @Emily
