Copying and pasting raw text adds double spaces to text

Title. I’m using the Miro app on my MacBook, and whenever I paste any text into a text box, it arbitrarily adds additional spaces to random spaces within the text string. Vetting these is taking up more time than it should; I assume this is some sort of Miro bug.

To replicate:

  1. Copy any text (i.e. from https://loremipsum.io/)
  2. Create a text box in Miro
  3. Cmd + v into the text box
  4. There are now random double spaces in the text that weren’t in the source text

Hello @Acr515

I hope you are well.

I tried to replicate the same on my Mac + Miro app, and copy and pasted the date from the Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black-and-yellow_broadbill) in to the Textbox, and i can’t spot double spacing.

Or may be it’s related to Texbox size?

Thanks

Aman
