Convert MindMap into Jira Tickets

Hello all,

I would appreciate if it would be possible to convert a MindMap into predefined Jira tickets.

The idea:

We are using Jira as our project management software. But in the beginning it is difficult to build a project structure and define all the tasks for the project. In this case, we would like to brainstorm to create a mindmap at the beginning of a project with a maximum level and a definition of which level belongs to which issue type. After that, we would like to convert the mindmap into Jira tickets with the correct project issue types.

Jonas,

I’ve been researching a simlar capability If you haven’t discoverd this workaround - convert your mind map to sticky notes. I give Miro AI the following prompt:

“Convert all of the child nodes into sticky notes. Do not include any node that is also a parent node.”

From there, I can select all the sticky notes and covnert them to Jira cards. I hope this helps until we get a direct export of mind maps to Jira cards.
