Hi everybody, I am currently working on a web based prototype that integrates different areas of a Miro board via iframes. I currently face the following challenge:When you load a web page that integrates a part of a Miro board via iframe and scroll down the page, the mouse gets capture in the iframe and you continue scrolling within the Miro board. So you happen to have a completely different area of the board visible in the iframe.Any chance to prevent this? So ideally kind of fixing the area of the board that is visible in the iframe?As a workaround I put a button below the iframes that simply reloads the iframe and thereby “centers” the view again. But that’s not very usery friendly. Thanks for helping!

I am trying to integrate miro in my react app. And I am currently facing these errors,“SDK Loaded” message is being printed on the console, but miro.onReady() function is not getting called. And if I try to call miro.isAuthorized() or miro.requestAuthorization(), then it’s showing me error (“is not a funtion” for both), even if “miro” as a variable is defined. From one conversation in the community, I found that we can put the ReactDOM.render function inside the miro.onReady function, but now even “SDK Loaded” is not being printed, and React app is also not being rendered.

Hello! I am able to provide my auth bearer token to a POST request containing the json to create a widget on my board via PostMan or the live test in the API Documentation.  However, running a local server / react app to call the fetch api using the same url and http headers/credentials results in CORS error. How am I to test the rest api for my app using the fetch api and running on localhost:XXXX?

Hi, Looking around on the forum I could not find an answer to my question, so allow me to explain. For multiple groups of users we want to use miro boards for guiding their projects. In each step of the project, some data needs to be updated in a central database, to track the progress of the different projects. Since having all information in one place is benificial, we would like to have an interactive (excel-like) table, that on opening of the Miro board loads data from a (company) server, and allows people to enter/change information in the table. The information should then be updated on the server.Is this possible, even in a non-native way? If anything about my question is unclear, feel free to ask for more details.

For the past week, I have been having an issue with the Miro Web SDK :(First a little background! -I have created an plain TS/JS app for my organization following the Miro Developer documentation (great docs btw). We are leveraging the Azure environment to host our app through Azure Static Web Apps pulling from Azure Dev Ops. The app is leveraging the Miro Web SDK to enable app icon click (miro.board.ui.openPanel method), modals (miro.board.ui.openModal method), a drag-and-drop feature (miro.board.ui.on method), and it also gets the current user (miro.board.getUserInfo method). Until 1 week ago, the app was working perfectly, however since last Wednesday (07/24/24) certain features of the app have not. After checking the logs, I realized the code hung up when instantiating the miro sdk using the openModal method and ui.on methods. I was also getting the following error in the Miro Developer console.  The first and third lines are expected and codified. So, here we have two errors. One

Hi!Currently there exists a type definition of the Miro SDK in the form of `miro.d.ts` in the app-examples Git repository.Unfortunately there are two issues with it:Because it’s not packaged as a type package finding it is difficult for developers new to the Miro ecosystem. I actually stumbled across it but had searched for it a lot prior to that. The definitions of the `enums` cannot be used (see: https://lukasbehal.com/2017-05-22-enums-in-declaration-files/)It would be great if:the enums would be published part of a module that can be used for the runtime and the types would be published as a DefinitelyTyped packageAre there any plans to do so? Take care,Marijn

Hi all,I am new to this community, so please excuse any mistakes.I have been using the Rest API for 2 months now to programmatically create board contents. Everything worked as documented and I did not have more than the usual problems.Today, I am observing a very strange behavior: When creating a shape, the fillOpacity values are sometimes ignored and set to 0.0. However, there is no pattern, i.e. if I create the board contents several times, the elements having the wrong fillOpacity are not identical, but vary a lot.I did not change anything in my code regarding fillOpacity, so I suspect that something has changed on the API side.Any help is highly appreciated!Thanks, and best regards,Rene

My dream is to generate and manage a Miro design that perfectly reflects a data structure in eg a database or excel table.From the Miro Web SDK i learnt that it’s possible to generate a mind map in Miro based on a excel spreadsheet (csv). However if I make small adjustments in the mind map in Miro i would like my spreadsheet to update. In this way Miro would not only be merely a drawing and presentation tool, but the actual visual representation of a data structure. I’m not only thinking of mind maps here, but rather general sync of information from data source to Miro and vice versa.Is it possible to create this kind of functionality using the SDK?

Miro board picker is throwing a blank screen as per the screenshot for the last ~30 minutes. Is there any recent config update because of which this isn’t working. Kindly update the miro board picker screen with error states in case it doesn’t work for better troubleshooting. 

Hi Team,Perhaps a bug.I’m using the web sdk api to create and add frames. This week something which seems like a bug was introduced such that when adding two frames, with different fill colors, the second frame added always gets the color of the first, even if specified otherwise. See attached from console.Any help is greatly appreciated! 

Hi guys!I have strange behavior with my app so maybe someone can help me.I installed the app in user settings and see app icon in app list on my board. I open the app and got authenticated. After that I can work with the app BUT after page reloading the app icon disappears from the app list on my board. What it can be ? Is there something wrong with my app or it’s OK because it’s not published in market? Now it’s deployed on Vercel. 

Our app (ID 3074457347393893408) is in the state “Submitted” since months. I don’t recall as ever getting a message about it.We’re can’t resubmit it with updated content again (this gives 422 error in DevTools).

i am in team plan, i am using board picker to embed miro into my website and i am embeding Editable boards for not registered users but the created board is not editable it’s in can comment state

Hi everyone! I am thinking to build a new web plugin to manage Miro board elements and I have found that this can be done with JS, specifically with NodeJS and ExpressJS. My question is how someone could "hide", secure the JavaScript source code of the web plugin as it can be easily inspected in the web browser with web developer tools. This is fine for open source systems but how to build it for a proprietary system so that the code is not visible? Does anyone have implemented a proprietary web plugin for Miro? Do I have to build a backend system, authorization, etc? Thanks 🙏

Are there Rest endpoints available to work with Tables and Documents? i looked at https://developers.miro.com/reference/overview and did not see sections relating to Doc and Table manipulation. I did find I could see an object type “data_table_format” but cannot seem to do anything with it. If this api is not available, is it on the roadmap?THanks

Hello all!I’m playing around with Miro’s API and I encountered one issue that may be a bug (or not, fingers crossed :)). I created a board on which I placed a couple of cards. Each card has a title, me assigned to it and due dates set.I query the https://api.miro.com/v2/boards/{board_id}/cards/{item_id} endpoint but it does not seem to return the full data on specified cards. Within the data field I get the assigneeId, description and title properties but dueDate is always missing. So essentially from this:I get that: Is someone familiar with the issue?
