Developer platform and APIs

Hello,Although both email addresses—belong to me, I accidentally activated the wrong account and paid from the wrong address. The address I intended to activate was another email. Please help me correct this mistake. Please cancel the payment I just made and activate the other account.

I have a board of stickies each with multiple tags. I want to cluster the stickies by just 3 tags - Lets say happy, sad & neutral whilst ignoring all the other tags on the stickies. Is this possible?

Hey Miro team, the board overview (which is heavily used by our organisation) seems to be locked in a column in the middle of the screen and does not resize according to the window size. This looks like a bug. More importantly, all board thumbnails are gone! They seem to be present in the board details but are not displayed in the board overview. Note that both are related to the space view (Browse view, not Overview) – Thumbnails seem to work for starred board view though. Could you please fix this asap – super annoying! Much appreciated.

Hello,Has anyone populated a mindmap from an Excel spreadsheet from the automation tool, n8n.io? Many thanks

Hi there! Is it possible to export Miro Mind Map with keeping the hierarchy? I’ve tried to export in CSV, but I get a flat list of items. Maybe it is possible using API?

Hello Miro Support Team,I'm experiencing an issue with editing my boards after my free trial ended.I currently have a Free plan and only 3 boards in my team. However, one of them is still locked in View only mode. Here is what happened: After my free trial expired, one of my three boards became view-only. I checked the permissions: I am the owner of all three boards, and my team has Editor access. I duplicated the locked board. The new copy became editable, but another previously editable board was automatically switched to View only. I deleted the original locked board, leaving exactly three boards again. However, the other board remained locked in View only mode. Current situation: I have exactly 3 boards in my team. I am the owner of all of them. Editing permissions are correctly configured. Only 2 out of 3 boards are editable. The board "Дмитрий. Математика 9кл" remains locked. As I understand it, the Free plan allows users to edit up to 3 boards, so all three should

Hi,I would like to make an app based on miro that would be focused on general cabinet design and kitchen design.I need to limit the abilities of miro so it would be easy enogh for carpenters to work with the app.The app is to be marketed seperatly

How can I log in to Miro running on a Webex Board when the email link just logs me into Miro running on my Mac?

Hi, I applied for a miro education account a few days ago, (Almost a week) and I havent received any emails confirming the application has been received or approved. How long should this take, and can it be approved soon please (Upcoming deadlines etc)? Thanks!

I collaborate with a person in China. I am in the US.When the user in China has her OS (Mac) set to Chinese region, she can type chinese onto the board and it renders correctly, using simplified chinese. When I view the board on Linux, with my system set to English, I see the Japanese Kanji:interestingly, when I *copy* the text with my mouse and paste it outside of miro to a local app or to Google translate, I get the correct chinese character:一直 and if she switches her Mac to English settings, she also sees the Japanese Kanji. If she changes the Mac back to Chinese, she sees the Chiense charcter. It seems that for non-Chinese systems, when you render the character, Miro is choosing the Japanese kanji form of the chinse character. (BTW, this is for all fonts we tried, Noto, Titan, etc)But the underlying information is there; I can copy it out and it’s Chinese, not Japanese.

Dear Miro Support Team,My name is Olha Shumakova, and I am an English teacher based in Ukraine.I actively use Miro for my daily work and projects, but due to the ongoing war and difficult economic situation, I cannot afford a paid subscription. Access to advanced features would help me enormously to conduct interactive lessons for my students.Could you please let me know if my account is eligible for a complimentary upgrade or special support program for Ukrainians? If necessary, I would be happy to provide proof of my Ukrainian citizenship or any additional information that may help with the review of my request.Thank you for standing with Ukraine and supporting our community.Best regards,Olha Shumakova

Hi all,We're currently evaluating how we might use Miro AI within our organisation, but before moving forward we need a deeper understanding of what happens to our data when AI features are used. We've already reviewed the published documentation and spoken with our account team, but we're looking for a more technical discussion covering topics such as:What board content is sent to LLMs Which AI providers and models are used Where data is processed and stored Whether prompts, inputs and outputs are retained Whether customer data is used for model training Security controls, tenant isolation and governance optionsI'm interested to hear whether anyone in the community has successfully had this level of conversation with Miro.If so:Which team did you speak with (Security, AI Engineering, Solutions Architecture, etc.)? How did you arrange the conversation? Were they able to provide the level of detail needed for an internal security review?Any advice or experiences would be greatly apprecia

Looks like lots of users are asking for DARK MODE, for at least FOUR YEARS.So - why haven’t you responded?

Dear Miro Team,My name is Daryna, and I am an Italian language teacher from Ukraine. I would like to kindly ask if you could consider providing me with a free or educational subscription to Miro.I use online tools extensively in my teaching practice, and Miro would be an invaluable platform for visual learning, interactive exercises, and collaboration with my students. Due to the ongoing situation in Ukraine, purchasing a paid subscription is currently very difficult for me.Education and my students are extremely important to me, and access to Miro would help me continue teaching effectively and creatively during these challenging times.I would sincerely appreciate any support or opportunity to use Miro through a free or discounted educational plan. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.Warm regards,Daryna Italian Language TeacherUkraine

we are running into 500 errors when we create a lot of frames, the code works fine on my instance, however fails for a customer for whom we are running the code for. A quick google search seems to suggest that this is a rate limiting error? https://community.miro.com/developer-platform-and-apis-57/500-error-on-get-tags-from-item-endpoint-19904Request that produced it:POST https://api.miro.com/v2/boards/board_id/frames{   "type" : "error",   "code" : "3.0000",  "context" : { "boardId" : "redacted" },  "message" : "Internal error occurred",  "status" : 500}

I’ve currently created a regular Miro account with my student email and have now found out there is an educational version for students. Should I delete my regular account and sign up for the student account or will it not work? I’ve tried it once in the past, but it did not work and it said “The allowed number of accounts is exceeded. Please use a different email address.” I’ve recovered my account now so should I try again, but after deleting wait a day or two so it doesn’t bug?

Hello!I have a problem: when I try to log into my account in app for tablet  I can’t do this. I click on the magic link, which is sent to me in email, after clicking I’m sent to web version of Miro. When I try to click the button “open an app” (which is on the top of the screen) I open an app and app still requires to use “magic link” to confirm your account. The weirdest thing is that I can open an app on my iPhone without magic linkso, what can I do?

Hello! I work at an agency where we create boards and invite clients to them as Guests so they’re able to comment or edit (depending on what we want them to have per board). Despite them being added as Guests, as an Admin, I often get requests from clients to join our Team. We upgraded to the Business plan last year to get this Guest functionality but I’m finding a flaw.  When an existing Guest on a Business plan clicks “Ask to join team” while viewing a board, does Miro retain the originating board ID anywhere? If so, can a Company Admin access that information through Support, the API, or another Business-plan admin tool? It’s difficult to figure out what board the client is trying to access when we can have multiple per client at a time. I wish this button would be inaccessible to Guests because otherwise, what’s the point of the Guest seat if they can just click a button requesting to join as a full Team member?

How can I retrieve the URL that was added to an item's link field using the Miro API?

I registered somewhere around 2021, and Miro set some complex password for me, which is why I have to search for it in my documents every time I want to log in from a new device. And in the profile settings there is no "change password" option. If I try to do it through the "forgot password" button, I just receive an email with a direct link to log into the profile, meaning that in this way I can only log in from my personal computer.

Synced Copies are extremely useful for maintaining a single source of truth across multiple boards. However, synced content is currently completely locked, including the inability to copy individual objects contained within a synced frame. We are not requesting editing capabilities. We would like Synced Copies to remain read-only while allowing users to:• Select objects inside a Synced Copy• Copy those objects to another area of the board• Preserve the synchronization and read-only behavior of the original synced contentUse case:Our Style team maintains a master collection board with more than 300 products. Marketing teams use the same products to build campaign curations, moodboards and presentations.Synced Copies solve the update and synchronization problem, but the inability to copy products from the synced frame creates unnecessary manual work.Allowing object-level copy while keeping the Synced Copy locked would make Synced Copies much more useful as live catalogs for retail, fashion,

Does Miro have any functionality that can turn a board into a somewhat controlled environment that operates like a bulletin board? I would like to allow facult to post project ideas, and allow students to comment or ask questions about those projects, and the facilitate connections between the two when their needs are in sync. I have been considering Padlet for this, but wanted to see what’s possible with Miro first. It needs to be a somewhat controlled environment, and easy for users to posts, not a free-form, brainstorming-style board. Thank you.

Hello Miro Community!Hope I’m not missing something obvious here.  :-P Had high hopes I could configure the Action Shortcut button to generate an image based on stickies within a source frame.  Unfortunately what is generated was completely disconnected to what’s in the frame.  I’ve tried turning the stickies into Text, Jira Cards, a Doc, etc., and none seem to get “picked up” by the AI image generator.  Given the “Source (Optional)” option stays active when you select “Image” in the dropdown above, and frames are your only Source options, what exactly can the AI pull from the Source frame?  Any thoughts?

once i try to open a template and start with a new project i got this message:
