PDF regeneration time

I added some PDFs to my board.  Small files, 200KB to 300KB.  When I zoom in on one I get a blue ‘progress’  circle and the image greys out while it regenerates to a higher resolution.  It does this repeatedly as I zoom in further.  How can I prevent the regeneration and just see them at the highest resolution?

@Ron Smith - This is also true with pictures (and some other objects) on the board - they only fully load once you are zoomed in.

This type of just-in-time rendering is typically implemented as a way to avoid reduced system/board performance, and in the case of PDFs, additional backend resources to serve up the PDF.

Depending on your use case (the number of pages in your PDFs, if you needed the full PDF there for download, etc.), you may want to put a screenshot or image export of the PDF on the board instead.

Replied too late, didn’t see Robert’s response. (But can’t delete mine, so I edited it.)
