HelloI upgraded from a free licence to a business one more than a fortnight ago. But it keeps defaulting to my free one, and telling me to upgrade. I have emailed Miro support every single day to ask for some support because FAQ tells me that this is an issue which requires some help from them. But I have not had any response. I have scheduled workshops on the basis of being able to use Miro, and am wondering what it takes to get the support I need. I also hope that the licence start date will be reset to the day that I can actually start using it.Thanks.

I cannot seem to add all my students in a class to a project. I’ve added them to my Education team, but can’t see all their individual boards when I try to add them to a project (However, I can go to their boards via link). I suspect it’s because some of them my have created their own team? Don’t know. They appear as members of my team, but I can’tsee their boards even though all of the students have given me editing permissions. See the attached screen shots of a student who I have been able to add to my board (Samantha) and one that I haven’t been able to add (Cassie).

Hello MIROers,Is there a way I can replace MIRO for all public speaking presentation tool. This works best in presentation mode except there is no “Preenter View”. Is there a way? Team MIRO, Is there a way you can add this Feature or may be give us. a flexibility to move around Note window (currently) its attached to presentation window and cant be detached.  Thanks.

Is it possible to lock the function of creating new shapes? I’d like users to just use the pre-created shapes that are placed on the canvas and not create any new ones. Much thanks,Ehssan

Hi, I have a couple of questions about private and shared boards. 1. On the free plan I understand the boards are open for anyone to view.  How discoverable are they?  Can anyone with the link and a username edit them?  Can you see who has viewed the board? Are the URLs easy for anyone to discover? 2. If you are on a paid plan and then revert back to a free plan do your once private boards become visible to anyone? Thanks (looks like nice software btw)

I have the Team plan now and enabled the public access for guest editors to edit….My question is: how can they edit through the ipad app and NOT go through Safari/Chrome?Really hoping there is a way...

Hey all -I’m putting together a module in Canvas in which I’d like to have Miro boards embedded. I planned on having the students run an exercise on separate Miro boards and then “bring them all back” to a main Zoom room where I can share our Canvas page and show what all the different groups did by looking at multiple boards all embedded on the Canvas page. But now when I test it it seems that the embedded Miro boards won’t update with changes made to their linked board. I’ve tried refreshing the page, testing in Incognito mode and reloading the frame.Any help would be HUGE as I planned on using this setup throughout the course.

Hello guys,I have a white background (i.e. a rectangle) and gray frames I want to layer on top. But every time I drag the frame over the background or paste it on top of it, the gray disappears. The “bring to front/send to back” feature also does not help in this case. The only solution I have found is to put a gray rectangle in between the background and the frame, but that seems rather ineffective.Does anybody have another solution or is this simply impossible? 

Hi In a workshop I set up I wanted to finish by clicking an icon that would move over to an embedded video and play it (the “that’s all folks” with Looney Tunes). I could not make it both navigate to and start the video on the same click, so I linked to the external youtube page instead (where I could include autoplay in the link).Is it possible to include an autoplay command in an internal Miro link to the embedded video.? if so, how do you do it? ThanksAnders

Hi there,I signed up for a consultant plan, but with one team in place, I can't do any of the following.　1. create a new team.　2. add members to an existing team.If I try to run it, I am guided to sign up for an additional contract.Furthermore, I cannot delete an existing team even I see the consultant plan on the team so that I think the plan is signed up correctly.Does anybody know what is causing this and what is the solution?Also, if you have a page that summarizes the differences in functionality between the team plan and the consultant plan, please let me know.

We provide training and have set up a team for each course we run. I just went in to create a new one and am asked to provide billing information for 2 users @ USD 10 each? I don’t understand. I thought we were paying for users already and they could be part of as many teams as they liked? Are we now also having to pay for each team even though the same licensed people are already in it?  

Mind Map how can you assign a task/ due date to a team member?

I have a consultant plan with 1 member (me) and before i had a free plan.When i used Miro with free plan I can invite persons and they could use post-it, cards, everything to type ideas with status of memberNow, with the Consultant they can’t create post-it or cards or type somtehing ex ept commentHow understand with no charge it’s possible and when i pay for a consultant it’s not ? I don’t understandmay i remove as consultant and use as free to allow the partcipants to write ideas ? 

Hi,  On Tuesday I run my first Miro workshop. Everything’s ready but when working I noticed the dashboard and then particular boards are loaded extremely slow (like 2-3 minutes). Nothing fancy on the boards. Just testing, only shapes and a few templates. Using: Macbook Pro (tested both Safari and Chrome and the osx Miro app)Tested Windows (Firefox and Chrome)Tested iPad app.Tested network speed (upload, download 250+)Tested on iPad LTE gsm.Consultant plan, two members.Other apps work like charm.Restarted everything. I invited a one time occassional user. She logged in….and reported the board (any board) doesnt load.Have you noticed same problems? Best, Bartosz  

I need to add many text boxes to a screenshot. Every time I add one the T sign becomes inactive and I need to click on it again for another box.Google docs have a feature where you press “paint” and it stays on until you deactivate it. Same for Word.

Hi! I host different groups of people every day. It could be a facilitation I do for a client's workshop or it could be that we're using Miro during a webinar or in a training.I need for every guest to be able to contribute on the same board at the same time. When I try this everyone can log in and see the board alright after sharing the link. But as soon as someone starts writing on one of the post-it or in a circle or other shape i prepared the whole board is locked for the rest of the group and they cannot write until the one already writing is finished. Am I doing something wrong or is Miro not working for my needs? I'm on the consultant plan.Ways to solve this issue is very much welcomed.

I often use links to other objects of the same map in my work. But sometimes I just want to see the information and return to the place where the link was called. Is there such a possibility?

Why am I being made to sign in every 30 minutes now with SSO? I thought it was just my organisaiton but it's also happening to our clients so it must be a Miro issue.

For some reason, I am unable to lock things on my board. The lock icon does not show and the ctrl+L shortcut does nothing. Has anybody else had this happen to them?

a team member can’t be invited/recognised as a full member to another team. because of this the amount of boards he can access is limited, how can this account be recognised as a full member?  

I have uploaded three pdfs but when I upload a fourth one, I get this message: Sorry, Something went wrong”, rather than something helpful like “Sorry, you’re on the free plan, would you like to upgrade?”The document creator was able to upload this document, but another user was unable to upload this document.  I have download this pdf from the owner’s website couple of time, opened it, but unable to upload it any of my three boards.  Anyone run into this?   

I’m using emojis to tag sticky notes in a massive brainstorm activity.I’d like to then be able to filter by emoji. Is it possible? I guess if not, I should be using tags instead but it’s not as fun or easy.If not possible, is it something that may be possible in future? Thanks!Elite

I tried to duplicate the mindmap I had. The goal was to get two people to work on two mindmaps at the same time.However the copy version appears to be a static object that doesn’t allow branching out. That is no “plus signs”What’s wrong here?Also, is there a way to get two central nodes for a mindmap?

It doesn’t matter which browser or laptop I sign in on or which account I use, I only see my personal projects (in a free miro account). I should be able to see my work projects and teams when I SSO for work - but I only see my personal projects.Ideas?
